So right now, I have a desktop pc with windows preinstalled, I could easily wipe it and install my favorite distro which is Linux mint.  Guess which OS I cannot install on my machine.  Yes you guessed right, macOS.  So my question is why you hate  windows so much as there is a worst offender out there?

Window is closed source , evil, the worst thing since capitalism and this and that but macOS is a walled-garden OS which is as much anti-linux as you can get and yet you hardly criticize it. Hmmmm.

There is a beloved magazine called linux format and then there is another magazine called mac format.  That’s it. You are actually fanboys of the macOS because it looks like linux?

Do you somehow believe that macOS is some kind of linux distro.?

So folks everytime you criticize widows I simply roll my eyes because it may seem you are a fan of a walled-garden OS.  That makes you hypocrites because it seems you don’t care about software freedom.

Folks, I love both windows and linux.

My PC have windows preinstalled and I have a virtual machine with linux mint installed.

I love windows because of its GUI and because everything just works.

I love linux because of its CLI and because I can install it on lower hardware.

You somehow have the weird idea that you cannot mix using both Oses. You either have to use windows or linux not both.  I gonna tell you a little secret and it may give you a heart attack so be warned.  Actually you can use both Oses at the same time.  An example: I am a fan of programming languages so I write source code on fortran, cobol. GCC on visual studio code on windows because it is much faster and then alt-tab and compile the code on linux mint virtual machine on shared folders and run it. Sweet.

I noticed that in every places that is linux related: magazines, websites, reddit, etc.  there is always complains about windows.  It seems either linux user are jealous of windows popularity or they are offended of people still using windows.

Look most people use the OS which comes preinstalled on their machines.  Also, most people uses a OS not because they like it but because of the apps that exclusively runs on it. An example:

A business man probably uses windows because he probably uses excel.

A artist probably uses macOS because he probably uses photoshop.

A scientist probably uses linux because he probably uses python libraries.

My point is that you should  be proud of linux because it is free and it runs on very old hardware.  It is unique.

Please, stop being jealous of windows and stop mentioning windows every each post or article.  It is just annoying.
