I'm looking at thyroid issues with maniac heartbeats sometimes and a colonoscopy. I'm super overweight but at least I look proportioned. zero savings or chances but at least I'm sober and almost out of debt! If I can make a lateral career move and lose weight maybe I'll be ok, right?

Yeah man, I’m about 40lbs overweight and sleeping on my side causes knee issues, carrying the extra weight while walking has caused me issues with my pelvic muscles that are causing painful contractions. I put on more weigh over the last few years because running (something I love to do) while 20lbs overweight caused a real nasty case of plantar fasciitis that lasted over a year and during that time the pelvic issue arrived and as that subsided, the knee issue started and now that that was being addressed, I have a pulled tendon from throwing my dogs poop bag into a dumpster as I did something wrong there so now I (temporarily) have very limited arm movement (on top of all the pain associated with that injury) and so I can’t do my daily pelvic stretches which is causing that issue to rise up after about 8 months of no flare ups. Exercise was always the thing that motivated me to eat better and reduce stress (I’m a stress eater) but I have literally had a health issue impeding me from (aerobic) exercise for the last 3-4 years straight. I’m at the point where I don’t see myself ever being able to exercise the way I want to again until I change my eating habits entirely and all this from 40lbs.
