This looks... pretty good, actually? Delicious baked beans with bread and stuff inside; it's like beans on toast but better. This is actually pretty similar to what I'm eating right now. I made a stir-fry out of some vegetables, some ham-like sausage, some mango, and some sauce, and instead of eating it with rice, I toasted up a couple of bread slices and put the stir-fry on top. I'm eating it with a knife and fork, not like a sandwich. It's actually delicious and superior to rice, at least for this kind of dish. Bread is actually a pretty nice carb for this sort of thing. When the bread is in the sauce, it's called a sop, which is where the term "soup" comes from -- it was originally meant to be a dish for sopping.

Anyway, that's a delicious-looking dish and it makes me want to open a can of beans with my next meal.
