Does this count?

Ground turkey, can of pasta sauce, can of diced tomatoes, can of tomato paste, box of Mac and cheese, without the cheese packet. Throw it all together with one can of water. Bring to boil, simmer for about 15 minutes. Shitty food. (It was actually good)
thisemotrash@reddit
One step away from a bolognese
FriendlyPainter10@reddit
I think this looks pretty good
TahiniInMyVeins@reddit
This is what people eat. Looks good.
GothicaSweetHart@reddit
when i was a kid, i used to put m&ms that came with my lunchable, on the mini pizzas
littleamandabb@reddit
It was the tiny crunch
Beginning_Cookie2922@reddit
totally agree, sometimes the weird combos just hit different, like it’s a vibe tbh
MyMomsTastyButthole@reddit
But M&Ms melt in my mouth, not on my pizza
TahiniInMyVeins@reddit
Flawless username game no notes

And now I want hummus. So thank you for that. Guess I'm ordering Skorpio's for dinner.
squidyj@reddit
I wish I could get my hands on those thin straight ish noodles outside of boxes of mac and cheese. I can't find them anywhere.
Alivethroughempathy@reddit
If you’re in the uk you can get it
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Those are industry standard noodles. I’ve tried to find them, all I get are elbows
ShaggySmilesSRL@reddit
Why no cheese powder? I feel like that only would've elevated this.
Cryptid-Weregoat@reddit
bachelor wet-chow
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
My kids ate this. They are picky, but liked it
GoHawkYurself@reddit
Kids are generally really picky eaters. So that's a sign that you might be onto something here.
Cryptid-Weregoat@reddit
I'm sure it's great, just needed to make a cheap Futurama joke :)
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Missed the opportunity to
Cryptid-Weregoat@reddit
Not really lmao. Have a nice day 😊
GoHawkYurself@reddit
I would eat this no questions asked.
TrainingSword@reddit
It’s just turkyaroni
PallbearerOfBadNews@reddit
I would definitely go for seconds
Nitrofox2@reddit
No. This is definitely not shitty. Also, when's dinner, I'm inviting myself over
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Every night between 5:45 and 6:45 come on over.
Nitrofox2@reddit
See you there!
Chris_Wilson14@reddit
It looks fucking delicious I'd add about two white onions some green peppers and celery to the party but, that's just me.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
I wanted to put some onions in it, but I didn’t want to go to the store for just onions
SalPistqchio@reddit
It’s brownish but not shitty imo
Griffithead@reddit
Yes. That's shitty.
Seasoning would have made it great though!
Beef stock or bouillon, cumin, thyme, cayenne, salt , pepper.
Stuff like that elevates it drastically with almost zero effort or cost.
You don't have to eat bland food!
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Hahaha you’re right. I did add seasoning. Salt pepper, garlic, oregano, celery salt, and a touch of dill. I also used a beef bouillon cube crushed up and put it with the turkey when it was cooking.
Griffithead@reddit
Hell yeah! Dill is awesome.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
It’s a recent discovery for me. I love using it whenever I can
todaysbird@reddit
It may not be glamorous, but I could totally see this being posted as-is on one of those budget recipe sites. Solid meal
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Thanks. This is the result of not pre planning
GetReelFishingPro@reddit
It's a little watery for my liking but a good meal I've had many times
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
I didn’t let it simmer long enough.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Edit: seasonings. Salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, celery salt, and a touch of dill.
Take a bouillon cube and crush it and add to cooking turkey.
Homelessnomore@reddit
I make something like that for meal prep. I use a whole pound of macaroni in mine so I can portion it out for several meals.
pinstash@reddit
Great drunk food btw lol, soak up all that alcohol lol
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
I haven’t drank in 6 years, but this is definitely something I would have ate.
Appropriate-Sun834@reddit
No
Money-Ad7257@reddit
This is too much water, but I would eat this a few times a week if it were made with less liquid, perhaps by draining a bit more. It's a solid combination regardless.
SerDuckOfPNW@reddit
Looks like Manwich with Kraft dinner
gmanasaurus@reddit
Thanks for the recipe! Just curious on the can sizes you are using. You've got me craving this, feel like I've had this before or something very similar.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
I think 8oz. Like the basic bitch kind of cans
seamuwasadog@reddit
You invented a variant of chili mac. Congrats on the nice skillet dinner (sincerely), but that's not shitty.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
That’s fair
canolafly@reddit
That would hit the spot right about now. 70% would 30% haven't eaten since 7pm yesterday.
lavalampoo@reddit
Omg yum??? I’m literally going to try this lol
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Let me know how it turns out!
EmphasisOk8258@reddit
Turkey chili mac? Nah, ain't that bad.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Not chili. More like goulash, kinda
TooMuchBroccoli@reddit
kinda is doing a lot of heavy lifting there
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
That’s fair
MyMomsTastyButthole@reddit
I think they're thinking of Hungarian or German traditional goulash, this is pretty on par for American "goulash" or johnny marzetti.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Totally American hahaha! I can make traditional German goulash.
RandomFleshPrison@reddit
I would have added the cheese packet myself. Still, this is not horrible. It gives off depressed and/or struggle meal vibes, but is far above most things on this subreddit.
pinstash@reddit
I use to do the same but add the cheese pack when I first lived on my own without meat, I loved it
Endlesstrash1337@reddit
You made hamburger helper. I would eat that strait out of the pot and feel awful but amazing after eating it all in one sitting.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
I felt it came out as a goulash, kinda. I’m enjoying everyone’s opinions on it
AspieAsshole@reddit
It's basically chili-mac
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
No chili though. More like goulash, kinda
cito4633@reddit
That’s actually Michelin star-worthy compared to some of the crap posted here.
That-Water-Guy@reddit (OP)
Yeah, I figured. This was thrown together. I’m actually pretty good in the kitchen which is why I supplied a recipe.
