His entire story is super interesting too. Got over stuttering by scat singing. What a truly wild co fluency of events leading a scat singer to release an album of eurodance songs.
Venga Boys, Aqua, Gigi D'Agostino, Bob Sinclair, Frankie Knuckles (yes i know he was American) Modjo, Stardust, Daft Punk, Eiffel 65, Alice DJ, Chemical Brothers
My kids are somehow really into 80s, 70s and even 60s hits. Daughter is going through a John Denver phase? After going through a new wave phase lol before that it was 90s. It’s been wild…I love it. Pint being a lot of younger people are exploring the classics out there.
My daughter loves this music. Granted, she is 21, but still. Her friends love the 90s and early 2000s. She says it weirdly makes her nostalgic yet sad that she didn’t experience the 90s. I also think a lot of kids are looking for music to dance to. Apparently, they don’t dance like we used to. Their house parties are lame in comparison - or so I’ve been told. That’s just sad so when my daughter was a teenager, my ex and I would let her have house parties for her birthdays. One year we even got a dj. The parties were so epic that she still has kids asking her when she’s having another party.
My daughter brought a young man to the house once and I was overhearing their conversation. " oh I love last-century music !" ... that's what they call it. 80, 90's ... doesn't matter. It's all the same genre to them.

...I haven't gotten this song out of my head since I was a kid... SMH

Ultimate Dance Party 1997, I recognize that lineup almost anywhere. Eurodance is my guilty pleasure.
eggs_erroneous@reddit
Yes on the Eurodance. I was stationed in Germany in the army from 97 to 99. It was so good.
Available-Crow-3442@reddit
Eurodance was my gateway to trance, house, industrial. Love these bangers.
Backinblack25@reddit
The first CD I ever bought.
cybah@reddit
lol I have all of these cds still. 1996 to 2000. Was pretty much my soundtrack for the late 90s
OmegaRainicorn@reddit
Euro dance is my guilty pleasure as well. Such good stuff! Do you happen to collect Super Eurobeats as well?
Psycosteve10mm@reddit
I found Eurodance due to Initial D.
PL02550@reddit
I'm afraid I haven't heard of that series.

Thank you!! I was wondering where I could get this mix…as I chair dance to every one of these.

I have this CD in my rack and decided it needed to get into rotation in honor of this video.
eggs_erroneous@reddit
We really did have some excellent dance pop. I really miss trance music too. I wonder if they still make that stuff? Man, I miss the 90s.

By Reel 2 Real. Love it too.
Fuck the Black Eyed Peas version. My kids liked dancing to it though when they were little.
IkidIgoat@reddit
Literally haha I was like I need this playlist. These weren’t even my jams in the 90s but I’d always dance to them then and now.
muhredditone@reddit
The introvert version is closing the door behind you and having a solo dance in the dark.
Rhizobactin@reddit (OP)
As an introvert, I would totally be joining the party bobbing at the drink table. I see this as a habitual non-party goer.

I wish kids knew this music existed. Unfortunately you would probably go to a 90s party today and hear 80s music lol.

My kids recognize NIN, Chuck Berry, John Cash, Alice Dejay, ATB, deadmau and most of the 80’s classics before 2nd grade.
Son called out Chuck Berry in Back to the Future and he just started 1st grade.
