Not going to lie, that hit me right in the nostalgia feels. This scene was huge for 5 year old me. Took me years to come to terms with there not being a bird big enough to ride on.

One of the fun things about this movie a lot of people don't know (or don't remember) is that it was released as a double feature for its theatrical run. Before this they showed the Mickey Mouse version of The Prince and The Pauper. Then there was a short intermission (I think it was 10 minutes) and then The Rescuers.
