DiscussionExotic3759@reddit
Tell Dad I'm making cranberry sauce, chocolate pie, and the good peas n onions. 😆
MrGaber@reddit
Am I missing a reference
DiscussionExotic3759@reddit
Nah. I'm just going over what I'm making for Thanksgiving.
anguskhans@reddit
Can you elaborate on the 'good' peas and onions?
MrGaber@reddit
As opposed to evil peas and onions
PMmeNothingTY@reddit
It puts the butter under the skin
tiger81355@reddit
Or else it gets the baster again
QueezyF@reddit
PUT THE FUCKING BUTTER IN THE BASKET
This_Price_1783@reddit
Would you butter me? I'd butter me. I'd butter me hard.

I understand why people don't like military stuff but I also feel bad for them that they'll never understand how fucking funny that original meme is

No-Concentrate438@reddit
I always use boursin garlic butter it is unbeatable
TheDarbiter@reddit
Do you mean the cheese? I tried to look up butter from that brand but nothing is popping up.
No-Concentrate438@reddit
I swear it was borsoin but now you mention it maybe I’m going crazy because it doesn’t exist. I’m thinking of Meadow Churn, my bad. Such a specific memory too
TheDarbiter@reddit
Aww I don’t think they have that one in the states. I’ll be on the lookout for a different one. Thank you!
hahahomicidal@reddit
Kerrygold does a good garlic & herb butter also
Constant_One_1612@reddit
THANK YOU!!! I am doing my first turkey and I was trying to think of a good butter to use!
bunnykitten94@reddit
Mince up fresh herbs and mix them into the butter before putting it under the skin
Sierra-117-@reddit
Yes! Make your own garlic/herb butter. Really easy, and the flavor isn’t anywhere near the same. Melt some butter, add in some crushed garlic, a bunch of fresh herbs, and cook it at extremely low temps to spread the flavor out. Then simply put it back the fridge for a little bit. Once it becomes slightly more solid, mix it up so the herbs are spread out, and then let it cool the rest of the way.
Plenty of recipes online to follow. And it blows anything store bought out of the water.
Constant_One_1612@reddit
Thank you! Are there any specific herbs I should use??
Sierra-117-@reddit
Sage, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and pepper. Use salted butter so salt is included.
No_Possession_3883@reddit
or how to use it

anterin42@reddit
real shit
OkiDokiPanic@reddit
That is grotesque.
Hman6911@reddit
That’ll work!
TemuBritneySpears@reddit
Core memory unlocked.
This is almost exactly how my Grammy used to make skin on chicken breast. She used a whole stick of butter, but sliced in 1/2inch slices…like an ungodly amount of butter. Chicken was amazing and the skin was the best part.
Awsimical@reddit
More butter = more better
coke4breakfast@reddit
350
Llewellynt@reddit
jeepwillikers@reddit
This is good, but you should cut the butter into slices and distribute it evenly under the skin
Scrumptious_Foreskin@reddit
The 350 waiting there to be sent is so funny to me, op was so taken aback they couldn’t even hit the send button.
A_Bloody_Toaster@reddit (OP)
You're absolutely correct lol
nobodyhere_357@reddit
The stretched skin is killing me, like "yeah, that looks about right". Gonna be some exquisite eating though
MarsScully@reddit
I want to see the results
homosexualpenguin@reddit
i watched someone do this on facebook but 1 stick on each side after cutting out the spine and crushing the sternum to cook it flat. and halfway through cooking, they infused the juice/butter on the bottom of the pan and injected into the turkey meat. i won’t even lie because it looked soo good😂
Sugary_Cookieee@reddit
Is this not how it is done 🥲🥲🥲
thegiukiller@reddit
That breast is going to be tender as fuck.
NoOneHereButUsMice@reddit
Just the one
fenwayb@reddit
the sister should know it's impolite to only give attention to one of them
fenwayb@reddit
my dad is starting to cook more regularly and sometimes it feels like this
DeepNegotiation4542@reddit
Lol. I don't even know how you've managed to do this. Well done 👍
ifuckinlovetiddies@reddit
Soften it first lmfao
Iamnotabotiswearonit@reddit
I roast up a bunch of garlic in olive oil at 250f until the garlic is golden, get some sun dried tomatoes and an ungodly amount of butter and and blend in a food processor. I use that in just about everything and I shove a bunch under the skin.
destinyeeeee@reddit
Just deep fry that bad boy in ghee at that point
norunningwater@reddit
We're having Turkey Masala this year and that's final
style-addict@reddit
🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭

DrPants707@reddit
I laughed way way waaaayyy too hard at this
BogSwamp8668@reddit
Cut it into tabs first seemed like an easy add on
DistractedInc@reddit
Eh, warm it up and make a seasoning ball then spread it all over between the skin. Don’t forget them legs.
Significant-Boss-216@reddit
This is amazing
Yeetboi525@reddit
