If it's a clip from a show like Adventures of Pete and Pete or Mad TV for example, it would be fine. But if it's just a sort video of someone saying "ow" in your 40's I feel shouldn't be on here. I want this sub to become ticktok or YouTube shorts

Don't have a strong opinion one way or another. I'm just here for the nostalgia, so if that In Living Color clip in the form of a TikTok I'm fine with it.

I don’t think they rule, but I also think they should be allowed. There is no option for that.

Which one do you feel more strongly about, the dislike or thinking they should be allowed? I sort of designed the poll to make like/dislike contrast with ambivalent allowance.

Good timing, I was just wondering this morning why my Reddit home screen felt like a feed of mostly TikTok videos.

I don't see an issue with them being posted so long as the video is actually relevant to the sub's interests. But I also don't really care enough to be bothered if you ban them.

I second this. If you can author posts or respond to comments with YouTube videos, Twitter posts and/or GIF animations, then short form videos should be OK too. However, I also acknowledge that Reddit should not become TikTok 2.0.

Let's keep it drool-free, please. More convo, less mindless scrolling.

Curious to see how broadly folks will participate in the poll, and what the results will be.
