every morning i have been waking up in awful heat in the bunk. it will be 80 degrees and it just wont idle. i dont know why the thing won’t turn back on. it turns on when i first have it on. ill set it to comfort mode and then itll turn off and on again. but after that nothing

use a lot of electricity. Leave your parking lights on, leave a tv and computer and refrigerator on. It will start a lot more often as the batteries get low

It would help to know what company you're with due to different companies having different policies, settings and overrides. Me? I'd take it to the shop, asap. I've woken up suffering from heatstroke before and I don't aim to repeat that experience.

You need to get the robotic “button pushing” thing off of Amazon that hit’s your “shutdown override” button every 30 seconds. That’s the best workaround.

Some companies limit the time the system will run. Take a paperclip and insert into the tiny hole on the control panel… goes through the setting and change run time to MAX

When it's in opti-idle it runs based on the rear AC controls, so make sure that knob is set to nothing. It does take way too long to kick in, IMO. Does it ever give you a 'protection circuit' or something message on the dash? Mine would when the battery was weak and it would fail to start, or if the hood sensor was being weird. Get a fan too, a bunch of air movement will at least keep you cooling yourself when the truck won't do it.
