97-98 trans am help

Anyone savy with Trans ams.. So what i got myself into. I bought a wrecked 97 that was hit in the 1/4 panel but ran amazing and had a fresh engine and rebuilt transmission in it. I was struggling to find a good body where I am and jumped on a 98 v6 car with a bad transmission. I swapped the whole drivetrain, undercarriage, spindles, struts arms and all under the 98 car. Obviously everything bolted in the same but I've hit some differences on the under the dash wiring for the engine harness. Also that grey harness on the fender well doesn't have anything to plug into. Any help is appreciated, I know i should have got the correct parts car. I can swap the dash out of the other car if it will fix it, but if theres a simpler solution, that would be awesome.

Subscribe to "all data diy" it's the factory service manual for vehicles. You can lease the info for a month or longer. It will have all the wiring info you need. It does take some time to navigate, but gets easier the more you use it

I work at a junkyard, and we did have access to all data. I asked my boss if he's still subscribed. A lot of people are doing the ls1 into an lt1 swap. It seems like it would almost be the same thing but backward. I just haven't found the correct forum yet.

All data and all data DIY are two different things. You want the DIY version. This way it's far cheaper as you can subscribe to the cars you want rather than a typical subscription which runs $170 a month

Cool, I'll look into it. He said he does not have all data anymore anyway. He has maxfix, whatever that is, lol
