Kit car of some sorts, not too entirely sure what it's attempting to replicate
OofNation739@reddit
Looks like a very rough gt40 kit. The fiberglass and work is really bad.
SquirrelsLuck@reddit
I don't think it's worth trying to rescue... I would take it and throw it on a truck chassis though
OofNation739@reddit
It def isnt worth the rescue unless someone has the exact means and time.
The frame is prolly the only decent thing and im not sure about what to do with it since a new body will need the frame modified.

I suppose the person selling it wouldn’t know the answer
dinnerisbreakfast@reddit
In the description in the first photo, the seller states that they do not know the answer.
They bought somebody's failed experiment and are now trying to unload it on someone else.

Looks a lot like this Valkyrie kit car I saved on marketplace
Old_Scene_4259@reddit
Not really
Smokey_Katt@reddit
There was a kit car company that put a complete 4 cyl FWD front axle in the back of a car like this. Radiator in the front.
DeepSeaDynamo@reddit
I wouldn't call Pontiac a kit car company
Nirrith@reddit
Maybe a KITT car company?
proglysergic@reddit
I have to say… I’m a chassis engineer and I’ve seen some janky shit over the years. I get that not all work is going to be quality work but this is a memorably bad one.

I want a decent kit car gt40 one day so bad

Definitely not a Factory Five. Their vinyl ester glass bodies are pretty well done. This looks like a chop fiber glass, polyester resin body.

Really badly done gt40

Looks like a GT40 kit car.

One of these one day.
MeNameIsDerp@reddit
That’s not a GT40…
wearymicrobe@reddit
Looks like an avenger gt12 with a lot of body modifications to fit on a custom chassis.
JOEYballsGOTTI@reddit
Actually yeah, change my answer to this. Great eye!
wearymicrobe@reddit
That chassis is really well done. They did a few tube setups to run Corvair drivetrains but that has some really tricky interior panels to make.
I used to live in the kit car world. If it's not a kelmark, it's an avenger, if it's not that it's a lazer and that cover most of the ones that pop up. I have worked on and built a lot of kit cars in my life.
