At least you have a garage. Take your time. It’ll come together. And hell yes Legacy.
olov244@reddit
exactly, much worse having to only work during daylight, wasting hours setting up and putting stuff away

Dude add a 3 year old and I’m doing everything in the middle of the night under a small tent haha

I'm trying to do a timing belt and decided to do various seals while I was at it. No garage. It's been slow going as I've made mistakes.
newoldschool@reddit
technically it's never finished

Sigh... I miss my wagon. At least you have a garage to work out of. Couldn't keep mines since I couldn't afford a full rebuild after spinning a bearing and then snapping the timing belt trying to get it home after that.

Looks good! Those the Expreme headers? I've got those on my OBXT, it'll spool about 300 rpm sooner.

Iag EL

How did swapping from the plastic manifolds go? Why did you? They flow better from what I’ve read, but they are plastic
co1simba@reddit (OP)
I did it because I wanted an sti TB with the built in MAP, I like how it looks, and am welding some bungs on for line routing. I also found the complete intake with fueling and wire harness on ebay for next to nothing. I'm only going for 400whp, maybe e85 450whp.
I had to bend a 5/8 vacuum line from hitting the TB and ordered a MAP connector to extend the lgt wiring harness.

Electronics plug and play? Anything funky going on there? I have a 20x (ik lame) in my OBXT and would like a bright shiny red boy slapped on top like I do in my Bugeye 😂
co1simba@reddit (OP)
I'm doing full evap, pcv, tgv delete. Getting IAG aos next month to wrap that up.
The sti MAP does have a different connector from the lgt. Other than that everything plugs right in.
knightangle@reddit
You’re kidding? Is it as easy as de-pinning and repinning the right connector
co1simba@reddit (OP)
No, it looks like the sti has smaller sized pins. But idk what the internet says.
Problem is that the lgt harness won't reach the sti map location when everything else plugged in.
needzmoarlow@reddit
Probably swapped a whole EJ257 or a JDM STi 2.0 rather than just the manifold.
knightangle@reddit
Yes but the harnesses are wildly different

My two projects that I have
CocoonNapper@reddit
Yea, we've all been there. I plan, ahead of time, "execute" mode on mods and builds in chunks. When I was younger it was all the time, everyday, here and there. Now I need to reserve those 2 days to rebuild my rear diff and it helps me finish the project. I prep everything, and then execute the project. Otherwise, it hangs for years.
