Which is your favorite aircraft for transatlantic flights?

From all the wide body jets, I feel the 777 is the best. It's the perfect balance of space and number of passengers. It is comfortable even in economy class on most airline carriers I've flown on. I tried the A350 for the first time and it didn't feel as roomy and as comfortable as the classic 777.
The A380 and 747 are very comfy but takes a lot of time to board and exit the aircraft.

For me it really depends on the airline, but I’ve gotta say the A330neo has become one of my favorite aircraft for transatlantic flights – especially flying with Condor.
It’s incredibly quiet, the cabin feels modern and spacious, and the humidity/air quality improvements make long-haul so much more comfortable. Even in Economy and Premium Economy, the A330neo feels much more “fresh” than older 777s. And Condor’s new cabins (all three classes) make a huge difference compared to what they used to fly.
The Business Class layout on Condor’s A330neo is genuinely impressive: 1-2-1 seating, direct aisle access, lie-flat seats, and a very relaxed vibe onboard. It’s one of the best transatlantic products in terms of comfort-to-price ratio.
So while the 777 is a classic, if you get the chance to try a Condor A330neo, it’s definitely worth it – super quiet, modern, and honestly just a really enjoyable ride.

Lufthansa A380 upper deck.

A350 by far.

The higher humidity and higher pressure make all the difference. I arrive noticeably better rested.
As an aside, United forcing the cabin to be dark on daytime/westbound B787 flights is also annoying.

Too noisy.

a380, A350, 787 in that order

If I’m in the back, 763 with 2-3-2 seating.

I actually prefer the 787 compared to 777 for long flights. Air Canada 777's feel tighter than the Dreamliners.

The two United 787 I have flew on sounded horrible, in terms of wall and interior stuff rattling. It sounded like a plane far older.
I'll be on a other in a few days, curious if it will be similiar. Last two were -8's and will be on a -9 this time back from Japan.
Yet the 777, A330, A350 and A380 all seem rock solid in comparison.
Not that interior rattles matter much, but it suprised me (but also didnt as that has been reported across multiple operators and such I've read).

A380, 747. It’s simple 4 ENGINES.

747 is noisy as hell and the last few I flew in on Cathay and United were so worn it was ridiculous.

Not with the high-density 10 abreast seating that's default on the vast majority of the 777s. The 777 itself has great space but I struggle even with the original 9-abreast space. I'm not a large person btw lol
I no longer have the luxury of picking aircraft types because I moved to a place where the flights are 99% narrowbody (it was 99% widebody just 30 years ago).

Truthfully, this has so much more to do with airline, layout, and class of service than aircraft.

777 has aged in a world of newer Jets a350 by far then Dreamliner, a380 then 777. Just how quiet the a350 is makes a massive difference

I prefer the PC24.

C5 is more roomy than 777 I think.

Yeah, but the seats are terrible and the booking process is a bitch.

A380, A350, A330NEO in that order.
Don't like the 747 and 777 for noise and cabin pressure. Don't trust the 787 for technical reasons.
sarahlizzy@reddit
A330 because of the layout.
comptiger5000@reddit
Economy in the 777 is a pretty tight squeeze. Personally I'd lean toward the 767 for comfort in economy. It's not as quiet as the newer jets, but the 2-3-2 layout is definitely better.

A380 for sure.
