Hello i bought one yesterday but i didnt see you cant ship to NV,can i cancel my order?ive been emailing but no response yet
Squmpst@reddit
I've already bought four from you guys, why not make it a 5th 🤷🏻♂️
Kenj_Yama@reddit
And how are they holding up? Ive bought one from Deeznuts tactical (an S7 version) and within 70 or so rounds it was toast.
A-10goBrrrt@reddit
Probably because your lower isn’t cut for it
Clean_Number_7810@reddit
I have 3 but only one installed with over 1k rounds and zero issues and no signs of giving up.
Squmpst@reddit
Sounds like an unfortunate lemon, sorry about that.
Currently 3 of the 4 have homes with my first in a "MK18 for poors" build. Just north of 2500 rounds on it without a hiccup. The other two don't get as much love as they're in test lowers. Maybe ~300 rounds on them.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Thank you!
oxymo@reddit
Anybody know where to get a few spare s7 levers?
Trololoumadbro@reddit
I wish u/FuddArms sold extra levers. I have multiple kits from him, and never had a single part break, but I’m obsessed with redundancy.
oxymo@reddit
Yea, no issues so far but would like some extras on the shelf.
AssSpackler@reddit
u/FuddArms do your kits include centering blocks? I dont see them, just curious. Thanks!
lancerevo98@reddit
They don't and most people say just use an earbud. I just dropped mine in last week and there's a lot of side to side play so I may put an earbud on it before my function test
AssSpackler@reddit
Thank you! I have a few kits that haven’t arrived yet and was curious. Ordered a 10 pack of centering blocks from DNT
ThermosphericRah@reddit
And how quickly do you purge sales records?
Berry_Micockiner@reddit
The shipping companies are the ones that snitch on you
InternetExpertroll@reddit
They will even open packages and reseal them in a new box so it looks fresh.
Miserable_Ad_2847@reddit
The answer is not quick. Everytime I buy a new one the card processor knows everything about me. Luckily I don’t care and am not worried but others might want to mail cash.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
We use a third party payment processor. They may store your information and even auto fill it. That said, if you are a tin hatter, chances are you're not going to use your personal credit card anyway. This is why we accept cash orders and even XMR.
letsgoiowa@reddit
XMR is legendary
364592539@reddit
Please answer the question with regards to the records YOU keep, which would contain information about items purchased that may someday be deemed bad.
The payment processor would (I assume) only have basic transaction amount data they could be compelled to turn over, whereas you would have order/item specific detail.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
For credit card transactions, personal information is encrypted and retained only until the chargeback period closes, usually about four months or 120 days. After that, it’s securely deleted since there’s no longer a business need to keep it. This is standard across e-commerce, as chargeback fraud is unfortunately very common.
I’m not going to concede to the idea that these products are or ever will be demonized. Any enforcement action would require an actual change in law, not a bureaucratic reinterpretation. To our understanding our product is fully legal and recognized as such at the federal level. The way your question is framed suggests an unnecessary assumption of guilt. Some people consider cigarettes to be bad, yet no one is calling for a list of customers who buy them. If you have personal concerns about legality, I’d recommend speaking with a qualified attorney.
We don’t remove data to hide anything. Our retention policy exists purely to keep systems efficient and reduce bloat on our end. We maintain a basic sales record for accounting similar to a gas station receipt, which includes the date, item purchased, payment method, and total amount.
With alternative payment methods, customers have much more control over what personal information they provide. For example, privacy-minded buyers may use TOR to visit the site, XMR to pay, Guerilla Mail to confirm, and ship to "Current Resident" at new construction. When paying by card, the billing information must match the card issuer’s records, which naturally reduces privacy to near zero.
Even if we remove your record from our system, your payment provider will still have a record of the transaction on their end. There’s nothing unusual or concerning about that, but if privacy is your top priority, alternative payment methods are the smarter choice. Keep in mind, when that well-known litigious company first came under scrutiny, the authorities didn’t need it's customer database, they simply followed the paper trail through the shipping carriers.
TLDR: 120 days. Good operational security matters more than any company’s policy when privacy is the main concern.
364592539@reddit
So: after about 120 days (or the chargeback period has ended) you no longer have any personally identifiable records of a transaction that someone may have completed.
Is this correct?
throwawayformobile78@reddit
I too am here for this answer.
Funk360@reddit
Still waiting also
flippant_jedi@reddit
That is good info, and accepting cash/XMR is great, but how long do you keep sales records?
RonaldWRailgun@reddit
Accepting XMR is megabased.
ThermosphericRah@reddit
My dogs care
ItsJustAnotherVoice@reddit
Get them doggy plate carriers.
InternetExpertroll@reddit
lmao they take cash orders via mail. Nice.
NULL_SIGNAL@reddit
sales records historically don't even matter; if it comes to it they'll subpoena the shipping companies and track everyone down that way.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Bingo.
Your card issuer will always have a record of the payment to said website and the IP address used for the transaction. The carrier will also have a record showing a shipment from our return address to your location. All of that data can be accessed by authorities with minimal effort. There is no way to make a credit card transaction untraceable.
If privacy is a serious concern, use XMR or other cash-based payment methods and brush up on good OpSec practices. Those approaches give you the most control over your personal information and leave the smallest paper trail. Not a single other vendor we know of offers these methods much less this level of advice.
Shadez_Actual@reddit
Solid question
DanteMustDye@reddit
So amazing. I remember when you could piece these together easily still bur now everything is made professionally and under $100. The gun community is really dope. Glad to see these efficiencies.
CommanderShepardFTW@reddit
I have used one these and struggled to get it to work.
ItsJustAnotherVoice@reddit
For me guys said its an art with your finger. Dont death grip it lol
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
It can be a challenge in some cases. Luckily there's loads of information available here on reddit and also on our website here
CommanderShepardFTW@reddit
I will try to adjust the buffer weight first but I can’t quite give the thumbs up or down yetup.
TrickyCod208@reddit
Its a thumbs down from me as well.
TazBaz@reddit
Got a low/mid shelf lower?
FA profile BCG?
Milspec trigger?
Tried different buffer weighst?
CommanderShepardFTW@reddit
It’s a PSA lower but the parts seem to fit in like they should. FA bolt and the trigger is the one that came with the SS.
BraveJudge8429@reddit
So just wondering why will rarebreed that started in fl ship to fl? Why is everyone else scared its legal in fl...
Rooster-illusion11@reddit
Does the code work with bulk pricing?
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Yes. The bulk discount and coupon will stack
DayZBurner666@reddit
No more shipping to CO?
nailer69420@reddit
Just to the counties that banned them. Boulder and another.
Hobbyman85@reddit
Their website says no shipping to CO?
nailer69420@reddit
Yeah it does. Mine shipped to denver no problems. And somewhere else, it says which counties they don't ship to but I am having trouble finding it.
itsmyfakeone@reddit
Had one shipped to mesa county no problem
reallifedog@reddit
I had mine shipped to CO.
avowed@reddit
Anyone run this in a JAKL?
TazBaz@reddit
I dont think these would work in a JAKL without a lot of modification. Someone may be working on a JAKL design FRT though. They use the BCG to reset, and I think the JAKL BCG design isn’t drop-in functional.
TheRealMasterJeffe@reddit
I am ignorant on how these work. Do they augment a milspec trigger or can I drop it into an aftermarket option like a SSA-E? I also assume that a FA BCG is required.
TazBaz@reddit
Because they function based off how the safety interfaces with trigger AND using the BCG to actuate the safety, the trigger has to be a modified milspec trigger, and you need a FA profile BCG.
Some other possibilities include modifications to your lower you have a non-milspec lower, and adjusting buffer weights to a heavier buffer if you’re not getting reliable function.
itsj3rmz@reddit
You have to use the trigger included with the kit because it’s pre-cut to function with the super safety. The only thing you’ll use from your original trigger are the springs. Also, yes, a FA BCH is needed to run properly.
obamasfursona@reddit
Is there anything else needed to get this to run in an AR-15?
TazBaz@reddit
Multiple possibilities.
Your upper may need modification if it’s a non-milspec “high shelf” design.
You may need a heavier buffer (H3 is generally the recommended one).
Your BCG has to be a full-auto profile design.
You need a milspec trigger. It doesn’t work with 2stage triggers like LaRue.
Belezibub@reddit
Usually a H3 buffer if it doesn’t work initially
second_ary@reddit
try first, if you get dead triggers then h2-h3 buffer and maybe higher power spring
also your bolt needs to be full auto or full profile whatever, the rear part is what moves the lever.
Successful_Floor7978@reddit
Rear of your upper may need trimmed. Had to do it on my PSA.
jizzled_cereal@reddit
Did this to both my uppers too. Even for someone that isn’t very handy with a dremel it’s relatively easy
Hobbyman85@reddit
Trying running it first, then adjust. Mine worked in my AR without any modifications.
oxymo@reddit
A lot of ammo, seriously, you will go broke. They are drop in on most lowers, just make sure you have a "low shelf" lower. Also watch a few videos on the install and how to function check before going to the range.
Xtradifficult@reddit
H3 buffer and drop it in.
reuas@reddit
I've purchased two SS from Fuddarms and they have been great. Even had to contact their support about an issue and they were quick to help.
salesguytx8@reddit
Just ordered two kits…but is the only difference that the kit comes with a trigger (vs just the super safety)? I.e. can I just use my standard milspec or geissele triggers and save the money by buying just the super safety alone?
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
In theory, yes. You can use your own trigger if you prefer. In practice, though, most folks just go with the included one since it’s already set up and ready to go. The jig is simply a guide that shows you where to cut your own trigger if you want to do that yourself.
salesguytx8@reddit
So using the kit trigger helps me avoid custom fitting (aka dremeling) my current trigger? More or less?
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Yes, Exactly.
merc08@reddit
Do these work with CMMG .22LR conversion bolts?
WingedDefeat@reddit
If I thought I could get away with buying more than one, I would have bought 5 or 6.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
The savings stack the more you buy ;)
Only_GoodStuff@reddit
Just here to comment that I got 3, my buddy got one, and my BIL got 5 (including one for me!). They're all in various things and running well. Had a hiccup with one and the customer support was quick and forgiving! Would highly recommend these to anyone interested.
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Thank you for your support and kind words!
thehighsman0503@reddit
How many rounds will these hold up for
Pen_Name777@reddit
Thousands
jfree3000@reddit
In for one. Been eyeing these for at while and this is a great deal.
BaronVonMittersill@reddit
S7 vs D2?
Gibby1560@reddit
They’re both great, but I believe s7 would be better for this
Smallie_Slayer@reddit
Is it 89.36 for the kit or just the safety barrel/lever? I can’t see a place to enter the code anywhere
StickOnTattoos@reddit
In for 1!
blank_dota2@reddit
Awesome, in for two. Thank you OP!
Go_Blue_@reddit
Looks like you don't ship to CO at all anymore? I could've sworn the website previously specified just the counties that have banned them (which I am not in). u/FuddArms can you confirm?
The_Longest_Shot@reddit
Hypothetically, if this were to go into a 20" rifle length system. What buffer would work best?
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
There's a good FAQ/Guide HERE
hwystitch@reddit
I have been on the fence, just bought one. Thanks
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
I'm hoping it's everything you're dreaming of and more!
Hjd_27@reddit
I've got the S7 super safety and I'm curious how it's different from the S7C?
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
The “C” is just a differentiator for the curved kit, as Fudd Arms also has an S7F kit with a flat trigger shoe.
ry_hy@reddit
Does an AR9 handle this well? Or do I need to tune?
No_Leg6630@reddit
You’ll need to tune and make bcg weight mods
ry_hy@reddit
Heavier bcg?
No_Leg6630@reddit
You’ll need a heavier buffer, you’ll need to shave the bolt weight some.ay want to check out r/blowback9
lenouveaufil@reddit
You need a heavy dead blow buffer, I got an 11oz
FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Lots of folks run these in AR9s. Some special considerations must be made regarding the buffer weight. MORE INFO/FAQ HERE
Armando266@reddit
Getting one. Fuck it why not
