A Special Air Service jeep in the Gabes-Tozeur area of Tunisia, January 5th, 1943. The vehicle is heavily loaded with jerrycans of fuel and water, and personal kit. The gunner is manning the .50 inch Browning ANM2 heavy machine gun, which was scavenged from a downed Allied aircraft, while the driver has a single Vickers âKâ .303 machinegun in front, and a twin mounting behind.

Good lord that's a lot of dakka for one little jeep.

They'd drive the jeeps through German bases and just light up everything that went through the sights. Drive in one side, out the other, then TRB for refueling.
They stripped those rides of EVERYTHING but guns, ammo, fuel, water, and MAYBE food.
After all, they might have to turn around and go through the base a second time.
