Manual but 300,000km, if we were to assume the engine is fine, how much money would i need to invest ?
Price is at 12,000€ reduced from 14,000€, I think I could get 10,000€
Worth it ?

If you have to ask how much you have to invest then you can't afford this project.

10k for this piece of shit? Its not even a straight 6...

It’s a manual so hell yes. I’ve owned two, not hard to work on.

Not my money so I say go for it

German inspection standards are pretty high from what I've read so just getting this thing running might not be enough (unless there are classic car exemptions).
I've got an e24 and they are great cars but that's a lot of miles on an engine, see if it turns over by hand and go from there.

Its pretty simple if you can get a historic plate, to do that i must only use OEM parts

Well with that barrier removed, see if the engine is viable and check it over pretty good for rust on the frame rails and body!

Isn't germany a place where it needs to pass inspection? One thing is to get a car running, but very different if it needs to work perfectly on every system.

Should have added: Based in Germany, In good condition they go for +25,000€

Only if ur gonna swap V8 something like 4.4 or 4.9

Good to me

A clean stick e24 has some real value. Id find a shop to do a good thorough inspection of it.
