Watched itin Scotland as a kid. It was on just before the 6 o'clock news on weekdays. That was until the BBC started airing Australian sitcom, Neighbours.
we had a vhs tape of random christmas cartoons we taped off tv and the christmas raccoons was the first thing on it!! i think that was my only exposure to them but its seared in there. it was right before yogi’s first christmas 😂
Very much so. I don't recall if I found it depressing because it was, or because it aired on Sunday night right before school started again for the week.
I received a couple VHS tapes of this show from a second hand store for a birthday or Christmas. I watched them over and over and was so invested in these characters but never saw the end.
Such a great show at the time. It is one I don't think I want to go back and watch again though, just in case it didn't hold up. I'm fine with it being a good memory.
Oddly the Christmas Special airing on NBC or ABC because I have it on VHS but it was weird because it was a take on the Wizard of Oz where the main girl knew all the characters except they didn't know her and as a kid watcher I really had no idea who they were! I didn't even know they had a series until years later.
That's Grandma's cartoon! She lived 20 miles from Canada and received Canadian channels, and her place was the only place I was able to watch this show.

Never heard of it. However, those excessive use if freeze frame in a weekly show does denote a rather narrow time period.

I don’t like characters with bent/broken noses or snouts. This was unpleasant to watch.

I didn't watch growing up but was made aware of it in the early 00's intro song is easily the best theme song out of all the 80's cartoons.
