Yeah, quite a few times. Obviously not by random strangers. But at house parties, birthday drinks and so on I've got chatting to a woman and she's asked for my number several times. And I've done the same.
Have lived elsewhere in the UK and didn't find London particularly different in that regard.
Twice by Russians thinking I am also Russian (I am not). I was chased down by one in London Bridge station, but actually thought I was about to be attacked and ran into the Rituals shop, he then spoke to me in Russian and asked me for a coffee, which I politely declined. The Rituals staff gave me a tea as I was a bit shaken by the whole thing.
