Hi avgeeks this is my first post here and it's already gonna be hated on, I've been an avgeek for 6 years now, I just want my argument to be heard.

Avgeeks and People who know nothing about aviation fight over which is better, Airbus vs Boeing. People say Airbus because it's safer and has less frequent crashes. Avgeeks who still does love Airbus might agree with them or argues and still supports Boeing because of how wrong the general public describes it will say Boeing because it's older, and naturally has more crashes because it's older. I'm a former avgeek and I personally have a favourite model on each manufacturer. Airbus A350 is my top 1 all time, 747 for Boeing being my 2nd, 777 being 3rd. I like the A350 because of its smooth design especially the mask, which makes the plane so much more beautiful no matter what the time of the day is, but it feels surreal on dusk, dawn, and night. I like the 777 because of its depiction of sheer scale, it rivals the A350-1000 by size, but still feels a lot bigger because of its looks. Though yes, generic option like most avgeeks, but at least unlike the general public who simply likes A380 and 747 just because of fame of being the giants, not comfort, history, or technology, though yes I like 747, but for a different reason, because of history. And that's how we should treat Boeing and Airbus too. Airbus is to technology, Boeing is to history, see? Both even rhymes.
Airbus = Boeing.
Even airlines know this, especially major ones who owns at least one model from both manufacturers, though smallers ones tend to have a reasonable reason why they picked that side, but take Luftansa, Philippine Airlines, KLM, Aeroflot, British Airways, Delta do want to go further!? God, even Emirates is on a 50/50 with 2 Airbus models, 2 Boeing models, A380 and A350, 777 and soon the 787.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

Having both bring out the best in eachother, in the long run. Lets not exclude our Embraier bois tho either. Love em.

Of course Embraer, but the thing is, despite being the current 3rd largest aircraft manufacturer, it's probably a Math lesson to the general public to understand what it even is.

Most educated people agree with your opinion. It’s mostly the entry-level enthusiasts who haven’t had any firsthand exposure to the industry that fight over whether one is better than the other.
In saying that, your post has a few flaws. Airbus is not safer; both manufacturers are pretty much exactly the same level of safety. “Airbus is to technology, Boeing is to history” is a bit of a flawed take too; keep in mind that Airbus has plenty of history with the first wide-bodied twinjet and of course Concorde being a legacy product of theirs. Similarly, Boeing has implemented plenty of brand-new technology that Airbus has later “borrowed” (blended winglets, fully-composite fuselage/wing, touchscreen PFDs, etc.).
Boeing and Airbus are really much more similar than you’re giving them credit for, even in a post where you’re saying they are similar.

I forgot to mention why I said "Airbus is to technology, Boeing is to history", it's because Airbus has made techs like Fly-by-wire and a simpler cockpit design for pilots, while Boeing is to history because well, yes Airbus did have a lot of history too, especially it's rivalry with Boeing, and the A300 being the first widebody twin-jet, and they also gave a hand at building the Concorde. But Boeing, their history went all the way back to 1916, and even made some of the most used aircrafts in WW2, like the B-17 and the B-29.
I don't wanna start an argument between us too, but I just want to clarify why I said that statement ok?
