They sell 737 kits on Amazon. Amazon: 737 Home Kit.

Wayyy to expensive at $645…
fwankfwort_turd@reddit
Motherfucker. I had a good run.
elkab0ng@reddit
There’s more to it than I expected.
HocusThePocus@reddit
Thats unreal
anactualspacecadet@reddit
Yeah just a sim lol
Alternative-Land-334@reddit
"Just" a sim? Holy smokes, I would give a couple of fingers for this setup.
Desperate-Tomatillo7@reddit
Or a kidney.
anactualspacecadet@reddit
Yeah idk im not so enthusiastic, most of my sim experience is being scheduled at like 5:30 am to do a 3-4 hour sim with single and dual engine failures and EPs the whole time
FlightSimmer99@reddit
idk man it sounds pretty awesome to me
anactualspacecadet@reddit
Thats just cuz you’ve never done it, after the 30th time it gets old. Plus I think only like 50-100 of the hours count towards ATP.
FlightSimmer99@reddit
fair enough
Alternative-Land-334@reddit
That sounds like a blast! Me, my day job is slogging around buildings, figuring out where the break in the wire is. Wanna trade? In all honesty, it sounds grueling. On the plus side, if you ever need all those skills, you'll thank God you practiced! If I am on your plane, so will I!
anactualspacecadet@reddit
I’d pawn off the sims in a heartbeat if I could haha
Scott2G@reddit
This is so badass
VanDoozernz@reddit
wut
Hodgetwins32@reddit
Aren’t SIMs supposed to be on another sub?
hartzonfire@reddit
To me, this is more than welcome here!
RagingCatbtt@reddit
I thought the post meant they built a 737 in their garage.
Gullible_Chocolate95@reddit
Love how there’s a Little Trees air freshener 😆
Batmanshadow@reddit (OP)
Lol our packs don't have hippa filters like the real thing lol so we need some way
Gullible_Chocolate95@reddit
Hahaha. Cool setup man. My ideal kind of man cave
Ready_Freddy123@reddit
Heck of a "just"!
Batmanshadow@reddit (OP)
Lol it was a lot of work but still building it as we go
suffelix@reddit

Batmanshadow@reddit (OP)

Batmanshadow@reddit (OP)
Yeeeeessss
wdgiles@reddit
What kind of flight planning do you do for something like this? What's your back end software setup like?
Batmanshadow@reddit (OP)
It's msfs2024 for scenery Using prosim for the flight dynamics 180 degree wrap around with 3 projectors There is a pro version of the 737 which comes with more failures and some airlines do use it but we have more of the home version of it.
We use the sim mainly for the once a year event called world flight where teams around the world with full size flight simulators raise money. So we are raising money for Angel flight West , all donations go to them. We just use the sim for live stream and help out.

Looks great! Found the youtube page and website. As a fellow socal (I think? IDK trying not to be a creep) simmer and avgeek its inspiring. Ive been tempted to build something (much smaller, more of a warbird single seat cockpit) and I dont know how you guys managed.
Like 10 years ago I flew the 737 sim at the flight deck in aneheim but that was when I was much younger, and less knowledgeable so I think I underappreciated it.
Mekroval@reddit
This looks cool. What's the YouTube link for this particular flight?
