Concorde Pilots Chair - What should I do?

I inherited a pilots chair from a Concorde. My Dad used to fly it a ton and he passed it onto me. I believe it's the only privately held one there is. What do you guys think I should do with it? Apparently it's worth a lot. I attached a pic.

Maybe contact the Technik Museum Sinsheim
Whilst there are a number of museums around the world that have a Concorde on display, I believe this is the only place in the world where you can see a Concorde and a TU-144 Concordski next to each other. They have a number of Concorde parts on display, such as wheels, brakes, engine parts and galley equipment. The seat will suit that display, rather than being a random part on its own.

I was told that the development costs for these chairs, when amortised over the number of chairs made, made the cost £8 million per chair!

I'm just brainstorming here, but here's my general idea, I think you could do this in your garage, turning it into a tracked mobility chair with articulating arm. It would really be one of a kind.

That would make the start of a killer flight sim rig, if you don’t want it can I have it 🥺

haha, so true. We were thinking of selling it.
Comrade-Lucas@reddit
Fair enough, out of curiosity how much do you plan on selling it for?
Jamesaflacey@reddit (OP)
someone loosely appraised it at $100,000. Not sure about that though.

I would see if there's a museum that will lease it from you, or talk to an accountant about any advantage you can get by "loaning" it to a museum.

That's actually a really cool idea, would love it to be able to serve a purpose and that could help us out too.
