The ones around me are pecked clean usually, and one of my children has a couple allergies and so I get nervous getting food from places like that. Maybe I’m just irrationally anxious, but it gives me that peace of mind. My kids will always eat. If I have to send them to my parents to get a meal, I’ll do that. I just really would like to have them eat here.

This is my own fault. My cat needed emergency vet care and the bill was the entirety of my “emergency fund”/savings. I could have done the payment plan but the thought of more debt sounded terrible. I’m already doing so well with the debt I have now. If I would have thought this through more clearly instead of broadly thinking that all debt is unnecessary, I wouldn’t be where I’m at.
