This image always looked like a weird composite to me since the angle and telephoto compression make it seem like the Concorde is roughly the same size as the Vulcan (the former is over twice as long) but the sun angle and shadows all seem to be consistent. Anyway, this was posted here a long time ago (with the exact same title - tsk tsk, OP), but there are some interesting discussions in that thread if you want to read those.
