Do all Honda Civics vibrate when idle (low rpm)?

I bought a 2019 Civic Hatchback Sport in March 2020 (new). As soon as I took it home, I noticed that when I'm idle at a light, the car vibrates. (enough that if I had a bag on the seat, I'd hear it rattling. As soon said as I hit the gas, it goes away completely. In fact - turning on the air conditioning increases the rpm just enough to make it stop.
I took it back to the dealer, and they admitted "yes, it shakes quite violently." They changed the engine mounts and transmission mounts... And it still happens. The dealership basically said "just keep the AC on, and it'll be fine." I reached out to Honda Canada and they sent over an expert. He said "it idles lower than the recommended threshold."
The car has been at the dealer about 6 times now, and I'm fed up.
After a lot of back and forth between the dealer, as well as with Honda Canada, the answer they gave me was "this is totally normal. We checked on a whole bunch of Civics and they all vibrate just like this. There's nothing for us to do."
Do any of you know anything about this? Have experience with this issue? Is it actually a 'feature' and not a 'bug' like they suggest?

My 2020 Honda Civic sport is doing the same thing. Out of nowhere last week, it just all of a sudden had a sound that I’ve never heard before and that sound is a pretty bad shaking. Getting motor mounts checked ASAP, as well as changing spark plugs.

Did you notice a difference after spark plug change? My Civic is a 2020 as well, with 37k miles and I’m starting to notice a pretty shaky/rough idle at red lights or stops. It goes away when accelerating and honestly doesn’t always happen each day, but more often than not it does. I’ve only ever done routine oil changes, so it has all the original parts and what not - no replacing of plugs or anything. But it’s driving me kinda crazy lol

I have the same issue. I have a 2019 Acura ilx with 50k miles. I was planning to change the plugs and clean the throttle body. Some people saying it needs new fuel injectors. Have you figure out a way to stop the vibration?

i know this is an old thread, but did you ever figure out what was causing the issue? i’m having the exact issue with my 2019 civic hatchback sport, it vibrates super hard while idling but stops when i start driving, or if i keep my A/C on

Nope! They say that's just how the car is supposed to be.

ah, that shitty. thanks for replying though!

This happens to my 2020 civic 2.0 liter as well. Told by Honda completely normal. I noticed it when purchasing so they let me test another one on the lot and I kid you not, same exact thing.

My 2915 Civic has a mild shake in the steering wheel. From start up to idle, it buzzes. This is after motor mount replacements. At warmed up idle it’s smooth. It’s shaky at backing up also before it’s fully warmed, or down to base idle. Nice car, good mileage, but that shaking sucks.
