Can anybody identify this plane?

Maybe a long shot but there are bigger aviation nerds out there then me lol. Girlfriend was going through old pictures and found this, asked me if I knew what kind of airplane this is but I'm not sure. All that is known is what is written on the back, which is that this is in December 1999 at the SAC museum in Nebraska.

Yes they have a B-52 Cockpit displace, From the back:

Awesome, do you happen to know if that's the same as the one in the picture I posted or is there a separate cockpit display from the full on B-52 you posted?

It is definitely the display cockpit as there is a very low ceiling in that image. They can cart it around wherever they want in the building, but it's usually been right in front of the B-52 when I have been there.

Except for all the rivets. Because the H-4 was famous for being made of something that wasn't riveted.

I agree on B-52. One thing about this photo is that the angle makes the center flat window "disappear" as it's being looked at edge-on, so the right edge of the front window frame here looks like it's at the center of the fuselage when it's really offset toward the camera. The triangular window above, plus the fact that the top panel looks sloppily riveted because it's actually a top panel that blows off in case of an ejection by the co-pilot, all point to B-52. If you google "B-52 nose" and root through the images you'll see that this matches. You can see the similarities best with this image:

Yours is not the goose, she's in Oregon, we were just there.
Educational-Raisin69@reddit
Absolutely a B-52

As I suspected, people are saying that because they don't know and are using visual search on the image. This post is the first result and the second result is the Spruce Goose.

I agree, it definitely looks like a B-52 cockpit. Thanks!
Ok_Mathematician6075@reddit
Why are people saying this is the spruce goose? Good fucking question. Ha!
TheDrMonocle@reddit
I'd have to concur on the B52. Windows are a good match.
I can see how people might say spruce goose.. until you compare it and read OPs note saying its from Nebraska.
rhit06@reddit
fair enough, I just don’t see it at all
mkamo243@reddit
I agree, though usually the rivets are smooth. Makes sense that it would be a training cockpit.

Either it's a mock-up or an old aircraft (pre B-29) like B-17 or B-24 -> rivets aren't fush.
Spin737@reddit
Looks like something made for a museum and isn’t a real plane.

So based on the angle of the balcony and elevator shaft in the top right of this photo, I'd bet that this is the sort of "temporary traveling exhibit" space between hangars A and B (effectively under the nose of the SR-71). Said exhibit space is just that, a small exhibit gallery no more than about idk, 10 yds deep if memory serves. The main hangars A and B are huge, easily large enough for their B-36 and KC135 and all the rest, but this small temp exhibit space is only really big enough for cockpit mockups at most, perhaps something small like a Cessna (which the museum currently doesn't have to my knowledge). Usually this space is used to display small exhibits and displays and projector screens and such. Putting all of this together, I'd suspect this is a mockup chunk of something as opposed to a full airframe. The SAC museum does have a few training cockpits and mockups and stuff, but idk which of them this would be.
