My asshole parents stopped showing interest in hanging out with my kids on Halloween years ago. I texted my mom today (when I didn't get a text from her) saying Happy Halloween... I have a new 3 year old and it was her first year trick or treating. Mom ignored the text...

My kids are 18 and 22. 18 year old is at college, 22 year old graduated and lives with his girlfriend/ they live together. This is the first year in 25 years I didn't decorate, buy candy, or turn my light on, sitting in a dark house, feeling guilty about the kids out trick or treating. I'll get over it.
