This free speech and free thinking message is going to bite them back in the ass real bad. They thought people would only apply this to hurt GOP's political enemies.
SerenityNow31@reddit
That makes them libertarian?
DontTreadOnMe1787@reddit
Seems to me like groypers and libertarians are fighting the same fight.
Domer2012@reddit
One of these questions is not like the others đ¤
WildCrazy8@reddit
A lot of the young right is turning more libertarian especially in light of our relationship w Israel, attacks on free speech from both sides, neocon foreign policy history, and debt/deficit problem.
liberator17@reddit
Man, I was once a libertarian but just like the Republican Party, it too has morphed into a bastardized shell of itself.Â
ravock@reddit
Following a libertarian philosophy and supporting the libertarian party are not the same thing. The libertarian party is a joke.
I_NEED_APP_IDEAS@reddit
Has been since its inception
longroadtohappyness@reddit
I'll go further and say it's a feature, not a bug.
I_NEED_APP_IDEAS@reddit
Thatâs the critical weakness of libertarians. Theyâre so heavy on individual liberty they wonât stop their own from self destructive behavior.
Like on libertarian subs that wonât ban far left or far right brigadiers cause of free speech.
ThoseOldies@reddit
Quote from Thomas Payne, "He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression. for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself"
Im honestly not entirely sure about this quote, but it there is a good chance it makes sense.
NatashaxKaur@reddit
Many self identified Libertarians consider themselves Libertarian by principle, and distance themselves from the party itself because of its issues.
seagulledge@reddit
I am curious what part of the Libertarian party platfom you disagree with? https://lp.org/platform-page/
Omega326@reddit
Wym the libertarian ideology never changed, the party has.

Christianity and Christian identity needs to be removed from our government this is exactly why the founders were anti-pope.
CalligrapherOther510@reddit
As pro-free market and as pro-business as I am, and I am as pro-big business as it gets, but fuck Palantir I hate that piece of shit company.
WaldoFrank@reddit
I have been saying for a while that gen Z (and hopfully gen alpha) men are going flip the script and become the counter swing to the young gen X/millennials that have spent the last 20 years driving this country into the ground.
I really hope Iâm right and it doesnât devolve into 2000s neocon 2.0
BackwardDonkey@reddit
Has nothing to do with libertarianism. Liberty movement is dead on the right, these are groypers who want the Republican party to be a religious nationalist movement. The other question asked was why JD married a non christian.
These people would be fine with Israel taking U.S money to kill muslims if they just weren't Jewish.
mrrichardson2304@reddit
I just hope they don't change (gen Z and Alpha) down their path towards libertarianism. It wasn't that long when the Ron Paul revolution ruled the internet and the millennials leaned libertarian too.Â
quigley0@reddit
70s genX here. Am I the bad guy now?
Carniverous-koala@reddit
WellâŚ. What was his response to the questions?
PushConfident3624@reddit
I hope they're not groypers tho Â

And Republicans are setting the stage to have full control over every aspect of the election systems so in the end is it really even going to matter.
rtekaaho@reddit
VP Vance answered all the questions. Thatâs just as admirable for a politician.
ItsNotDenon@reddit
Not surprised the establishment gets nervous when these questions pop up, keep pressing for transparency, no matter who's in charge
HelloImTheAntiChrist@reddit
Always. Evil hates transparency. Trust me on this one.
FunThief@reddit
Honestly I thought Vance did a great job answering all of them.
1. He's not a fan of Palantir
2. Trump is achieving success primarily because he is able to leverage Israel and is not controlled
3. Massie is not a team player and politics is a team sport.
4. When Israel's interests are not ours we should not support them

Corrupt-Spartan@reddit
He is not a fan of Palantir? Peter Thiels Palantir? Vance's mentor Peter Thiels company Palantir?
Dammit818@reddit
Yeah I think there's still a ton of people who don't understand Vance's deep ties with Peter Thiel.

Or Elon Musk, or techocracies

When your "team" is actively protecting pedophiles by not releasing the Epstein files, it's a team I don't want to be on.
EgregiousAction@reddit
Politics isn't always a team sport. Especially in the context of an elected official representing the voter base.
FaerieKing@reddit
Politics is the 'sport' of forming a coalition to exercise power through the formation of policy and managing the distribution of resources to enforce that policy.
Locke_the_Trickster@reddit
Hard disagree. âPolitics is a team sportâ is yet more evidence of the collectivistic, top-down, authoritarian, and self-sacrificial philosophy of JD Vance, which is disgusting and I hope that guy loses every single future election.
easterracing@reddit
same. Massie nor anyone else was elected to represent the team. They are elected to represent the people of their district, whether or not those people voted for them.
Johnny_the_hawk@reddit
Politics shouldnât be team players itâs not football you vote and stand on beliefs that would best represent your constituents and morals but we forgot that a century ago
RelationTurbulent963@reddit
Although his answers are superficially satisfying, I actually am upset the âteamâ isnât aligned with Massie and very upset that they have not made Israelâs PACs register as a foreign agents so they canât donate to political reps.
_WrongKarWai@reddit
Good, there is still hope.
