Can I still get one?
That would be great (excepting a few safety features 🙂)
xychosis@reddit
Is the “Mulch-Cross” moniker the result of a weird Romanization of the Japanese word for Multi?
lw5555@reddit
Yup. Ma-ru-chi -> Mulchi -> Mulch.
Mantiax@reddit
I love cassette-futurism/metabolist cars
welshguydave54@reddit
First photo I thought it was a plastic build model or even a Lego. Unusual is always nice to look at.
One_Contribution@reddit
100% thought it was a toy.
mealymouthmongolian@reddit
This 100% looks like something I would drive around Night City as a Nomad.
Rack676@reddit
It's a Fiat Panda's mother.
mrtn17@reddit
That looks great. I appreciate offroad cars that look boxy and functional. I dont want an iPad in my car or gamer lighting, give me big buttons and switches
syringistic@reddit
Did you read the date in the title?
SillyFlyGuy@reddit
This looks like a slap together, back of the magazine, mail order, body kit for an AMC Gremlin.
Plutoid@reddit
Man, Isuzu used to build some cool shit. Too bad it didn't sell.
Addicted-2Diving@reddit
Pretty cool
AdmiralThunderpants@reddit

Successful_Spell7701@reddit

Vehicross ruled. I always wanted one of those
kaiwikiclay@reddit
They sure look cool, seems like they’d kill it off road too, being so compact.
anyone know if they are actually good vehicles?
wasabi1787@reddit
Such a cool car. There was one in my old neighborhood and I would feel out anytime I saw it
duncan345@reddit
You can still see some of the design cues from this prototype in the VehiCROSS but yeah, this prototype would have been more fun.
R3TRO_131@reddit
It's like a Panda 4X4 but bigger, I love it!
VinnyMaxta@reddit
Looks like a playmobil toy!
Commercial-Result-23@reddit
Needs a Jurassic Park decal!
Basic-Art-9861@reddit
My thoughts exactly! Jurassic Park vehicle from an alternate timeline.
This car is a beauty.
squishee666@reddit
The shapes pressed into the bottom edge could easily be rearranged to make a Weyland Yutani logo. One below driver and passenger door, and one on each side of the front bumper. It would overall match the first film, and the bronco esque shape (p11) fits the period

Fiat Panda on Steroids!
HamsterOnLegs@reddit
I love it. Ugly-cute is still cute. Cross that mulch little guy! <3
DiosMIO_Limon@reddit
It’s like a baby FJ Cruiser and I need ten of them immediately.
dospinacoladas@reddit

At least the Vehi-cross looked better.
ScriptThat@reddit
I unironically love it! ..except for those deep-as-a-well bucket seats.
Emotional-Bison-519@reddit
This looks like it was built by TONKA, and I want it.
irideapaleh0rse@reddit
This would have fucked in lime green
miqcie@reddit
Yes please
Thirsty_Comment88@reddit
That looks awesome, they should have put it into production.Â
I guess we can still be happy we got the VehiCROSS.
