For people who are looking into buying an e-bike, weight matters.

I’ll start by saying that my Mihogo LX 4.0 has done well overall. Almost 6k miles and still chugging along which is great for a $1400 bike. The dual battery capacity and the ability to fold the bike has been an actual lifesaver. I travel 26 miles round trip each day and with the hydraulic seat lost addition, my ride is incredibly smooth. But! This thing is 84 pounds. Which seems like nbd when everything is in working order. But folding it and putting it in a trunk is a two person job. Trying to do basic maintenance is…. A slog. I literally ended up in urgent care last night for back pain after trying to catch my bike and prevent it from falling. TLDR: Don’t ignore the weight of a bike like I did. Trust me… it’ll become a hassle later.
