Toast? Every day. Baked beans? At least once a week. Beans ON toast? Never.

What the hell is your problem? Why the hell not?

Typically a minimum of once a week. It’s comfort food for me and I do start to crave it if I’ve gone longer without. I like granary toast with dairylea instea of butter, then hot thick Branston beans over the top. I enjoy with buttered toast or grated cheese, but my go to is always a cheese triangle on each piece of toast

Every time a yank whines about them

NOT ENOUGH!

PadHicks@reddit

Couple times a week, I love branston beans with whatever sauces are to hand and some cheese on top. Maybe I'm only honorary here, because I actually leave them in a bowl and have toast round the sides like I'm having soup. Just don't like missing the wet/dry too much on this one.
View on Reddit #70091904

CrowsEatCheese@reddit

Never. I can't eat bread, and I make my own baked beans.
View on Reddit #70048566

Particular_Store8743@reddit

From dried or fresh beans?
View on Reddit #70055349

CrowsEatCheese@reddit

Dried Cannellini beans usually, much cheaper, I've got a pressure pot.
View on Reddit #70085379

bennettbuzz@reddit

Once a week probably. I like to cut small lumps of cheese to partly melt in the pan with a full can of beans, also Worcestershire sauce and black beeper in there. 4 toast round the plate and brown sauce on top, lovely.
View on Reddit #70047465

MickRolley@reddit

I'm gonna start calling it black beeper from now on.

I have Crohn's disease and can't eat beans nor cheese. Sometimes though I look at a jacket potato with beans and cheese and think it'd be worth the trip to A&E.

About once a week. Importantly, cheese on beans on toast is a wondrous treat; beans on cheese on toast can get in the sea.
View on Reddit #70051592

jesussays51@reddit

Never, although the kids get it once a week. I can’t risk eating any beans because you never know the the kids will refuse to eat whatever we have made for them and we need to resort to making them beans on toast

View on Reddit #70051080

Potential_Bird_8597@reddit

I could and probably would eat it every day, but for health reasons I have to be careful over carb/sugar intake, so now it's just a treat every couple of months or so. I really miss bread.
View on Reddit #70050976

HarissaPorkMeatballs@reddit

Never.
View on Reddit #70046258

KeepOnTrippinOn@reddit

Same for me, its nice enough and I would eat it but if I'm having a quick tea with something on toast id rather scrambled egg or poached eggs on toast.
View on Reddit #70048316

HarissaPorkMeatballs@reddit

I'm all for poached egg on toast! Or even egg and soldiers if I've got eggs and bread. Or cheese on toast, since I'm much more likely to have cheese in the house than beans.
View on Reddit #70049089

Genericusername673@reddit

Beans go well with pork meatballs! Though to be fair so does everything :D
View on Reddit #70050058

HarissaPorkMeatballs@reddit

I usually have them in a wrap or pitta with harissa mayo (potato wedges and extra mayo on the side) but I'm definitely not opposed to dipping them in bean juice. Don't mind beans with sausages at all!
View on Reddit #70050816

bsnimunf@reddit

I like it but always forget it’s an option. Maybe once every couple of months. Has to be cooked on the hob with a we’re knob of butter added, poured on (melted) buttery thick white toast, loaded with cheese on top, and covered in HP sauce. Genuinely tasty when done like that.

Once a week on average. However, I prefer to cool my toast, butter it cold, and serve my beans on the side of the plate, so I can enjoy the beans on crisp toast with every mouthful. I also use tobasco sauce liberally too, but no cheese.
