Don’t they hire kids from foster care? It’s mission based.
_Rakun@reddit
Yes! They offer of course job placement, but they have grown and now offer housing and mental health services. There is a whole program attached to the coffee shop - plus it’s better than Starbucks so might as well give them the same money for a better cause
Ok_Beginning8600@reddit
Just read their latest Impact Report 2025 impact Report
They've only hired like 5 or 7 foster kids ever. Great marketing though!
Twisted9Demented@reddit
This it's self is worth it..
Plus I'm a grown as man who likes that cup
Millifera@reddit
The cups are peak
OrganizationMotor986@reddit
Same!
_Rakun@reddit
You should try the strawberry match or the lavender matcha next time - I personally like the heart shaped straw, it’s just cute ☺️
xomox2012@reddit
It is absolutely not better than Starbucks in terms of the coffee itself but everything else about the company certainly is.
_Rakun@reddit
I personally like LDU for actual coffee, Starbucks and LaLaLand are fine for drinks that have the essence of coffee lol
nolafire1@reddit
LDU is the best
Xx_Anguy_NoScope_Xx@reddit
Starbucks is a sugar store.
springbluebell1@reddit
Yes. They over roast their beans so they’re super bitter, almost undrinkable, so they only taste somewhat ok with all their sugary syrups.
GRDosFishing@reddit
Their bean and roast quality are technically light years better than Starbucks, though taste is completely preference.
SmallStrawberry6529@reddit
It's fake. I worked there, they only ever had 3 foster kids total, he started the charity for a tax write off. It's soooo twisted, he is an evil man.
NoKale790@reddit
Can we get the banana cloud latte recipe since he’s an evil man and we don’t want to support an evil man
Any_Nobody_7234@reddit
Barely
strippedruby@reddit
Not really. They have in the past but most who work there say it is rare.
TrustHucks@reddit
Yeah, I think it's just a good cause.
Mammoth-Hyena-3564@reddit
Ohhh that’s why they were always so friendly
Then_Supermarket18@reddit
They use child labor?
Xx_Anguy_NoScope_Xx@reddit
Have you ever been served by teenagers at a fast food restaurant? Or at the grocery store? Like, think before typing out the first thought that pops up.
Then_Supermarket18@reddit
Human trafficking is all around us, I guess
Xx_Anguy_NoScope_Xx@reddit
In foster care? Kids aren't trafficked to get jobs in the food service industry either. Jesus Christ!
Codye56@reddit
Big mad over someone not understanding the US still uses child labor we just call it an entry level job while simultaneously not understanding the foster care system here is wild man. It's almost like the internet is world wide and not everyone knows how other places run things, crazy right? I hope you fix whatever is making you this sad angry little man.
Xx_Anguy_NoScope_Xx@reddit
I was born and raised in South Asia. I know exactly what child labor and exploitation is. Since I've seen it first hand. Teenagers working jobs in high-school ain't it but some recent labor laws being passed in certain states certainly looks like its trending towards a more unsavory direction. And the foster care system for all its flaws is miles ahead of the rest of the world even if it falls behind some European nations.
I'm not mad or angry. But stupidity and ignorance annoys me. Child labor and trafficking at coffee shops? Gimme a break! This just downplay actual exploitation with false equivalency.
thathappyhippie@reddit
They claim to but the majority of their workforce is not made up of them
DMongrolian@reddit
Yeah, but it's in a "basement full of chains and skeletons" sort of way.
youngadri@reddit
Only a couple are hired via corporate, mostly not the case for workers at stores
TheRealFaust@reddit
Who the fuck sets their car on 80 in this weather?
bugattibrito@reddit
Lexus owned
playballer@reddit
80 on low is fine. 80 on max gets too warm after a while. Not enough info to judge them
swemoll@reddit
The "feels like" temperature was around 40 degrees for a while today, so maybe OP was just trying to warm up a bit after being outside.
Why they got an iced drink while being cold, I'll forever have no idea.
NoKale790@reddit
Attention!! does anybody who doesn’t like the company feel like sharing the banana cloud latte recipe? Ty :-)
vanessavy@reddit
Love la la land. Been going for years.
SmallStrawberry6529@reddit
I worked at Lala Land in Santa Monica for 3 years. Please don't support this company, the owner Francois is a total ass hole, he's your typical frat bro who got money from his parents. The whole "kindness" and "helping foster kids" is a gimmick and he only started the foster kid charity as a tax write off for the cafe. They lied to us (the employees) so many times, they used the 2 foster kids they actually had as poster kids to promote the cafe but he literally never could remember their names even after meeting them multiple times and doing two Forbes interviews with one of them (BTW he literally submitted himself to Forbes for the interviews, so cringe). We were paid the bare minimum wage even though it's so busy and they do collabs with huge companies like Disney and Rare beauty where they get paid minimum 35k for the collabs and it gets BUSY. We were so overworked and underpaid and they kept telling us we were gonna get a raise, but it never happened. And I'm 95 percent convinced they were stealing our tips. He started the cafe with the whole gimmick because his first business venture that mommy and daddy helped him start (a bar) failed since he's a shit business owner. Oh and the reviews are alllll fake. The cafe's real rating is about a 3.2 star but they regularly pay the employees to write fake reviews. You can literally see for yourself, you will see multiple 5 star reviews in a row mentioning the same barista or really weird bot-like reviews. They give a 20 dollar gift card per each fake review, which is ILLEGAL btw in California. The whole thing is a mess, and I pray that asswipe goes bankrupt every day.
adreyyy@reddit
Lavazza better IMO
Active_Ad766@reddit
It is mid haha it’s not a healthy work environment and they don’t actually care about their employees which is weird considering their mission to employ foster youths…
No_Piano125@reddit
No it's Called HELL and only one muthafuka who was down enough to face the Devil head on was about that then the rest of you bitch made niggaz lol
Fit-Bobcat-3777@reddit
Americans buy packaging.
Domthefounder@reddit
Any thing influencers hype is mid and paid for.
chocomilkntoast@reddit
The “I love you” from the cashier at checkout gave me second hand embarrassment for the next 2 hours
Shearez@reddit
Do they have to say that for every customer?
LonghornJen@reddit
At the risk of outing my millennial self, their avocado toast is amazing!!! So is their strawberry & honey toast. Coffee not bad, not great. I do love their mission/message, though.
yourdailyorwell@reddit
Fucking love their toast. The rest of the menu is fine (IMO) but the toast keeps me coming back.
The overnight oats are pretty good too.
playballer@reddit
I’ve never been but also never heard any recommendation for their drinks, only their toasts. My wife goes a lot and every couple months I say “let’s grab brunch at that la la land place” and she reminds me it’s not a restaurant. I don’t drink coffee or any drinks they sell by the sound of it so I just keep thinking it’s a restaurant because I always hear about the damn toast.
SeaMeRollin@reddit
The banana bullshit whatever drink is actually really good
bugattibrito@reddit
seconded, banana matcha whatever is pretty good
Strongarm_Mickey7@reddit
and the banana chai!
bugattibrito@reddit
that one fucks, didn’t think i’d like it as much as i have
SeaMeRollin@reddit
Ew no sorry, not the matcha one just the coffee one
awkward_mallard@reddit
I can't tell you how much I hope the is the legit name of the drink on the menu

dallasuptowner@reddit
Calling out something for being "mid" from a 2015 Lexus ES?
p0st-m0dern@reddit (OP)
Yep. With an invicta 9094OB submariner clone on too but implying the most slept on sedan is “mid”… how we know you have zero drip😂
dallasuptowner@reddit
I think people are very aware of the Toyota Camry, so I'm not sure what you mean be "slept on" about a 10 year old FWD sedan with a 0-60 over 7 seconds.
xomox2012@reddit
So because someone chose a reliable luxury sedan as a driver means they can’t call out bad coffee?
0-60 ain’t everything bud. In fact it’s pretty much a negligible factor of life.
dallasuptowner@reddit
Dude said it had "drip", lol.
UDMN@reddit
All cars are a waste of money 🤷♂️
p0st-m0dern@reddit (OP)
Ur literally mad it’s embarrassing
dallasuptowner@reddit
Big mad bro, the truth is I am extremely jealous, I wanted an old Lexus ES but the buy here pay here car lot I found it at would only extend me enough credit for a Honda Accord.
Also, the thing is, you can move, I lived in Uptown for almost a decade but sold my place and now own a house in North Oak Cliff.
p0st-m0dern@reddit (OP)
Congrats on the house. Beats an ES any day👍🏾 but yes the ES fucks. 2013/2014 for the more aggressive look, 2015+ for the improved ride quality and more modern features.
xomox2012@reddit
I mean… The Lexus ES is peak in terms of having a solid car that is comfortable and reliable.
Cars are meant to get from A to B and are generally speaking depreciating and will all be worth the same at some point in the future.
An older Lexus is easily one of the best cars you can have.
bugattibrito@reddit
what does this even mean? 😭
acaii@reddit
Matcha is mid , that’s why
BootyBurrito420@reddit
If you're having matcha mixed into something, it's most likely food-grade, which is ass.
The few times I've had good matcha it was REALLY good, but the price tag is way too high.
beaute-brune@reddit
Where? I dabbled in at home matcha years ago - did all the research, bought the right stuff - but it was ass so I figured it was a tastebuds issue.
BootyBurrito420@reddit
I ordered it from some tea shop in Kyoto suggested to me by my bud living there at the time
Game changing, but expensive
CurryWizard@reddit
What website or how to order lol?
BootyBurrito420@reddit
Okay so I've checked my emails, and I couldn't find it sorry
It's been years since I ordered from the.
bugattibrito@reddit
it generally is, you either like it or you don’t while you figure out where you stand. if you don’t care for tea without milk and honey then you don’t actually like tea. it’s the same with gin. i like gin but not everyone does.
Velli_44@reddit
I like tea, gin, and matcha! I guess we have a "sophisticated pallete" lmao.
syngyne@reddit
I am having a hard time figuring out what either a Rube Goldbergian box moving platform or a complex paint tray have to do with tasting drinks
DramaKing_@reddit
Who hurt you
bugattibrito@reddit
username checks out. i just don’t like sweet drinks.
Velli_44@reddit
What? Lol
swemoll@reddit
Seriously! It's like it was a conversation about cilantro and you said you liked it thus had a "sophisticated pallette" (which even YOU put in quotes) and someone coming after you for making the joke.
This comment section is wild.
Silly_Macaron_7943@reddit
"Where?"
Kyoto.
swemoll@reddit
It's not in Dallas, but I know Kyotobrew in Lancaster has been getting most of their cred via their matcha.
Blatti@reddit
The thing someone said about temperature does make a difference but on some level all teas and coffees without sweeteners taste like ass don’t let these people lie to you lmao.
I drink it because I like the tradition and I respect its larger tradition/cultural weight and coffees too intense for me everyday.
It sounds like you know this already but for anyone reading, just go into it with the same assumption you do for coffee or alcohol. It shouldn’t taste like your favorite sweet treat if it’s on its own. But if you like a ritual, it’ll do the trick.
Velli_44@reddit
It doesnt "taste like ass," what a crude thing to say. But it is an acquired taste, and of course its not gonna taste like candy youre absolutely right. Its important to manage expectations I guess. I agree with the rest of your comment.
Blatti@reddit
I have very bad news for you about your aversion to crudeness and the internet you’re browsing about. They’re not exactly in alignment. There are filters like Blocksi you can use to block swear words along with other undesirable terminology.
Given we agree & have the same hobby though I won’t dig in to the ridiculousness of trying to police other people’s language and instead I’ll say enjoy your next drink and have a good day.
CurryWizard@reddit
I got to Junbi or get some from the tea shop called cultured cup.
Majoranza@reddit
Hoshi cafe in Plano make some pretty good matcha. They don’t put any sweeteners into it, but the matcha itself is a tad sweet on its own so you know it’s decent.
The main thing that makes it super bitter when you’re making it at home tends to be the temperature
acaii@reddit
I know where I’m going to try some Matcha now!
msondo@reddit
Yes! Folks don’t realize how easy it is to ruin matcha. When you make it right, it’s sublime… herbal, layered, even with an interesting sweetness. I only know a couple of places in DFW where I have had really good matcha and they were both in Irving (Cafe Hana and Cuppa) but I will definitely add Hoshi to the list.
MarionberryLeast9563@reddit
It def is, drink coffee like an adult 😝
DistinctAd3865@reddit
It’s for people that love the taste of grass fr fr
AlarmedSnek@reddit
Matcha isn’t even mid.🤣
DazedandConfused3333@reddit
Matcha is marketing. 100% hype.
queenannesgout@reddit
So the centuries of matcha use in China and Japan is all hype and marketing?
acaii@reddit
It’s just a recent trend is what he/she means.
opnanobot@reddit
Damn the matcha heads coming for yall lol maybe the people who would down vote yall know the history of matcha but it is 100% I trend due to marketing. It’s everywhere now and once the state fair of Texas fries it that confirms it
chinchilla2132@reddit
Meanwhile coffee is nasty af without all the syrups and cream.
Traderirls@reddit
Yuhp didn’t like the matcha at all
sivadneb@reddit
I didn't understand the appeal of matcha, it tastes like lawn clippings
earthworm_fan@reddit
Clocked it
Beautifully_made37@reddit
It tastes like it has 564,742 grams of sugar. I only finished my coffee because it was in a cute plastic cup with a heart straw.
Bighead_Golf@reddit
I had some sort of banana bread latte and it was pretty good
CapitalMove5053@reddit
White Rock Coffee >>>
Historical-Newt@reddit
As a former employee, I gotta disagree. If only because they treat their employees like crap and pay terribly.
CapitalMove5053@reddit
Dang, that’s disappointing to hear. I always went to the original location and it did seem like there was a lot of employee turnover. That’s a shame because they seem to hire such great people
heresy_catz_painting@reddit
Is the owner/mission actually cool or as genuine as marketed? What was the pay like?
Historical-Newt@reddit
Owners not are not cool, hyper conservative and manipulative. Pay was middle of the road as far as being a barista goes. You’d be better off at Starbucks in terms of pay and benefits tbh.
heresy_catz_painting@reddit
Lmao I'm sure this thread is dead now but yeah the guy that founded the place just sounds extremely fun to be around based on his D Magazine interview in 2022. Did you ever get to talk to him lol?
-Started selling cars at 18, classic pleasant person to be around behavior. -No hobbies besides work, passion is the social cause that markets his business. -Eats the same tacos every single day? -His dream car was a ferrari his family had when he was only a child, but apparently they lost it and went bankrupt (which I'm assuming was only a temporary setback for them based on this guys general demeanor) -Hasn't finished a book since middle school lol. Sure he has a really grounded view of the world. -Bucket list (for his whole life lol?) is to IPO a coffee chain.
djwurm@reddit
WRC and Summer Moon are my favorites
ZestyChela@reddit
What do you recommend? I haven’t been in 10 years, might stop by now.
mmnoyd@reddit
It depends on what you like. They have the best sugar free syrups, so I usually get a sugar free Adam Bomb which is a flavored latte. If it’s hot, I get it blended. I will say their blended can vary sometimes. Some workers blend it better than others. The hot version is always delicious though! I literally can’t find anything from Starbucks I like after finding WRC.
kitkat214281@reddit
What do you usually drink?
Springpeen@reddit
Black Rock Coffee >>>
DanglyDinosaurBits@reddit
Absolutely
ClassicPop6840@reddit
OMG I am so glad someone else said it. Not only is their product average, but my spidey senses have always told me that if half of your messaging demands - with a smiley face - to “be fuckin kind”, there’s something not kind behind it. If you have to plaster your shop in the SUNNIEST YELLOW EVER, it feels forced. All of it feels forced.
HOMO_FOMO_69@reddit
I think it's great if you just want a Cup 'O' Sugar.
tuneful_radio@reddit
I go to La La Land every time I visit Dallas. The Lower Greenville location is awesome and everything I’ve had there (food and drink) has been top notch.
But different strokes for different folks. That’s why they make Pepsi and Coke.
Pleasant-Radio4361@reddit
best comparable matcha and coffee is at white rhino. they really are so slept on
xomox2012@reddit
Yup. It’s actually bad imo. It does a great job at marketing itself though and that’s all that matters sometimes.
SubstantialPoet8468@reddit
Isnt the founder from SMU? humble beginnings.jpg
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
There are plenty of scholarship kids that went to SMU. I’m one of them. Got a full ride. Normal job though.
SMU was a weird mix of super poor scholarship kids in the same classes as girls who would wreck their Lexus in the morning and buy a new one in the afternoon and oil-rich international students driving Lamborghinis.
Appropriate_Pressure@reddit
I also came here to say this. Not everyone from SMU is rich. My buddy went there on a combination of scholarships and a ton of debt. He grew up dirt poor just like the rest of us and we were all super proud of him.
Just saying.
SubstantialPoet8468@reddit
Yr right, my comment was too negative and presumptive
kelcamer@reddit
Do my eyes deceive me?

It's cool man. We all catch ourselves lumping the whole lot in sometimes when talkin' about folks.
xomox2012@reddit
Meaning their whole hire local kids in the foster system etc schtick is a desirable community feature.
thatonepac@reddit
Do you want them to not hire foster kids? That's going to make you happy?
Henniferloooopez@reddit
And so not like the smu stereotype. I love it. I’d rather give my money to a company that practices what they preach than to a company that operates on platitudes.

Sad_Imagination_1280@reddit
it’s so good but don’t go to the one in Richardson because people will get in fights in that drive thru. They need to make their signs bigger
picantemexican@reddit
I've met some of their corporate employees. Even they said it's mid lmao
kalexmills@reddit
Their coffee has always been mid. But it is very pretty.
Sunribbon@reddit
Tried to try it once but they were out of chai, I was very annoyed. Daughter said the matcha was ok.
FallenAutumnLeaflet@reddit
I only go there because it's the closest cafe to my PTs office. Other than that, I don't go out of my way to go there.
JiggleSnorts@reddit
When I lived in Oak Lawn a few years back, I would visit every now and then. While the coffee isn't on the same level as Merit or Union, it was still a good roast and brew - I probably got an Americano. If their quality hasn't gone downhill, this is definitely not a place I would put in the 'bad' category.
Colejohnley@reddit
“Welcome to Costco. I love you.” - Idiocracy
Routine_Employer_147@reddit
Yes, they love you long time! 🤭
GabbaDeeElle@reddit
The matcha isn’t very good imo and the coffee is pretty bitter. I feel like this place is popular for its branding mostly, but they are just like any other coffee business. Their employees are often overworked from what I hear with minimal raises.
musicincursive@reddit
Totally fair. Though I like the branding and their avo toast is more than decent. I will save my vitriol though and patiently wait for the Merit backlash because that place is just plain bad.
International-Tap326@reddit
i agree
AdDiscombobulated623@reddit
Idk man their cloud foam or whatever is probably the best I’ve had. I just hate how they say “I love you” it feels so weird

I liked their matcha and I'm not a matcha fan. I got the strawberry one and I would get it again. 🤷🏻♀️
megshoelace@reddit
Try the La La Latte with espresso!!! Delicious.
maxxim2000@reddit

springbluebell1@reddit
Maybe twice a year I’ll try one of the specialty drinks and have found them pretty good. I liked the cookies & cream one. More of a dessert than a coffee. However, even if you’re the only one in the store, they’ll find a way for it to take 15 minutes while the baristas all take their time & chat amongst themselves.
breadstickz@reddit
7th day coffee over in richardson has the best matcha/coffee in the general dallas area that i’ve tried. really cool owner too. they’ve gotten super popular now from tiktok but it’s a cool locally owned spot so i don’t mind waiting in line a bit to support them especially when the drinks are good

It’s impossible to get through the drive thru at the Richardson location in less than 20 minutes, regardless of how long the line is.

Same for Fort Worth. FW also couldn’t have a worse parking and drive through setup because the line blocks most of the spots and the small street

thewontondisregard@reddit
They do not use good matcha to make their drinks. A lot of places don't, but you should seek out actual Asian drink places near you and try matcha. Reputable places will tell you the grade of matcha used. (I know, they might lie)

I definitely believe you on that! It’s just close to my house lol

Was anyone at La la land on oak lawn on Sunday 10/26? I lost a deeply sentimental necklace inside or around there. I’m hoping someone kind picked it up! Offering a pretty big cash reward for anyone who might find it. It had a serial number that I can provide to verify my ownership.
Crease_Greaser@reddit
Why are they called that?
TheGreatMortimer@reddit
I disagree. It’s a better coffee than any other chain.
KineF_kka@reddit
I’m glad somebody fucking said it. Went to the one in Oak Lawn a few times when I worked out that way. I never loved it.
That said, all I’ve ever had were coffee drinks. Perhaps their other offerings were good, idk… either way, it was mid af.
qolace@reddit
No I had their chai and it was bland as hell. It was so bad I paid for another one at Starbucks within the same damn mall to "wash" the taste of it out of my mouth.

La La Land is ass, go to LDU Coffee, Merit or Cafe Duro. Or for matcha specifically drive up to Junbi's and get a matcha and rice balls
picklechicken94@reddit
Junbi is good for deserts but the drinks are mid
Keep_Plano_Corporate@reddit
Do they still tell you they love you when youre in the store?
Sir this is a coffee shop...
docforven@reddit
So mid. What’s your favorite place in Dallas so far? Mine might be Pax and Beneficia and Merit.
TrickDry4511@reddit
It’s just really good branding and marketing in an ocean of independent coffee shops and smaller chains. Especially in the wake of Starbucks’ demise.
MikeFromSuburbia@reddit
WHY ISNT IT CALLED LA LA LATTE
the-BBC-news@reddit
Branding is on point but that’s where it ends. Coffee is expensive and not that great.
Yungjak2@reddit
Bruh, there Ham n’ Cheese croissants was like deadass 75% Croissants, 8% Ham, 2% Cheese and 13% Air…..
kamon405@reddit
85C Bakery is waaaay better
Celcius_87@reddit
What kind of car is that?
pa584@reddit
13-15 Lexus ES
Celcius_87@reddit
thanks, I thought it was a Lexus of some kind
Professional-Eye3383@reddit
Find the spots that roast their own beans.
crooke86@reddit
Their coffee drinks are fine, not earth shattering but significantly better than Starbucks. If I want regular coffee, I'm going to Lemma or Eiland, not La La Land.
Avocado toast is solid from there though, and their pup cups are a nice touch.
YellowRose1989@reddit
Give me my La La latte or give me death.
noobskillet3737@reddit
I'll agree. Their coffee is decent. But my goodness, the app is a joke and the service is crazy. I pre-order because I hate waiting and I still inevitably end up waiting because I can't get a soul to talk to me unless I start basically yelling hello.
wannabetmore@reddit
Overpriced sugar water with caffeine
crooke86@reddit
That should be Dutch Bros' tagline
JeffTheJockey@reddit
But the cup is pastel yellow!
earthworm_fan@reddit
It makes for a nice IG photo which is the only thing that matters
BayRadburry@reddit
Go check out triumph in design district. That is the best coffee I’ve had in Dallas
r3v3rs3flash@reddit
I mean everyone's taste is different, I love their banana cloud latte
ihasanemail@reddit
The drinks at 85C Bakery shit all over that trendy nonsense.
xSGAx@reddit
Looks like you didn’t get the lavender latte. That’s on you
DaughterisaDancer@reddit
Their location in Addison is always busy.
AbleBuy4261@reddit
That’s crap wasn’t worth the money or the wait
Shloop_Shloop_Splat@reddit
I love the cups and the concept. The actual drinks are crazy expensive for what ended up being watered down and bland. There's so many excellent options out there, I don't know why anyone would recommend La La Land over...much else.
NJ2TX_ashley@reddit
I agree 100% couldn't have said it better myself.
No-Tumbleweed8592@reddit
got a gift card there over the summer and dreaded having to go every time and use it lol
arabs_legend@reddit
Man I thought I was the only one who don’t like their coffee
UniqueBalance1996@reddit
They had a smores one that was fire. 🔥 I dunno could be your order.
n8boof@reddit
Milk and matcha? 11$ please.
Saamari@reddit
Matcha does not taste good at all to me and I love just regular green tea. Matcha has more caffeine closer to a coffee and it’s nasty. It’s all for just pictures that’s why they got the fancy cups and cute cup holders
jkkats@reddit
Seriously. Don’t understand the hype for matcha when green tea is so good!
Jeffreyknows@reddit
Dutch Bros way better!
Montecroux@reddit
I liked the banana thingy
PuzzleheadedNeat93@reddit
Aw man /: I was excited
Viper_ACR@reddit
It was ok. The toast was nice at least tho
Substantial_Ant_2662@reddit
That bagel place on lower Greenville is much better.
reduces@reddit
I tried to go there the other day and the parking lot was absolutely insane. Like completely packed at 11am, people narrowly avoiding hitting each other in the tiny parking lot. I just drove right by, not going to have a parking lot spot brawl. Glad to know I didn't miss much
Emotional-Change-722@reddit
It’s a coffeehouse? I thought you were referring to the movie.
Just-call-me-Panda@reddit
I asked a coworker if she enjoyed it since she gets it every day and she literally told me she doesn’t like it, it’s just for the aesthetic ???
timidusuer@reddit
Totally mid and I felt like I was drinking from a baby bottle with those lids
art-of-war@reddit
It’s all hype. I’ll never be back
chronicallycute0@reddit
It depends SO much on what you get. I really only like their banana matcha right now, but I have some friends who like the butterfly pea tea one? Otherwis,e it's kinda bitter unless you get an extra syrup.
Youngrepboi@reddit
Qt or 7/11 or bust
mr_jrt@reddit
It’s all vibes
Antique-Juice9179@reddit
What’d you get though
p0st-m0dern@reddit (OP)
The Charlie (trash). Then the strawberry cloud (mid) bc my girl said “I swear they messed it up lemme get you a better one” 😂
YaGetSkeeted0n@reddit
The lowest greenville one is decent, I used to go there a lot cause it was very close by. Usually just got a plain latte, I've had better but it was fine and again I liked the convenience. Staff were always cool with me too, I went often enough that they'd prioritize my simple order when it was slammed lol
CryptoBasicBrent@reddit
Don’t overestimate the impact being able to post a really fire insta post has on the taste. 🤦
ArchitectureGeek@reddit
I got their lavender matcha and it was just okay. It was so sugary it made my teeth hurt, though.
Icy-Daikon-4154@reddit
Juiceland has a wayyyy better strawberry matcha latte
0llj@reddit
My GF has been wanting to try it.
cheesusnips@reddit
IM SAYING 🗣️
also their positivity feels forced and the store is too damn bright. Bring back mudsmith, but minus the ‘swindling their employees’ part
Turbulent_Union5213@reddit
Why is the oak lawn location so cold too
pattywack512@reddit
151 >>>
Stevoman@reddit
It’s pretty OK coffee. Too bad you didn’t get coffee lol
Mammoth-Ad6463@reddit
ever since i heard that matcha depletes iron— i was out
uhh_khakis@reddit
I think it's decent, although tbf I've only had their cold brew
KingKeeXx@reddit
IG clout
detoro@reddit
You are correct. Except for the MAKA toast
Stabmaster@reddit
Agreed
arsenalvette@reddit
It was mostly hype is what it was.
ranjithd@reddit
bawarchi is better
