Is there a way to have the Reddit home feed only show me recent posts; not posts that are several days old? Either on the official Reddit website/app or an alternative client?

I'm on Reddit every day. I usually use my home feed instead of going on individual subs. I'm subscribed to a large amount of subreddits (over 1000). I have home feed suggestions turned off, so my home feed consists only of posts from those subs. Overall, it's curated how I want it to be.
The problem is that it shows me posts that are way too old. It goes back seven or eight days sometimes. Generally, posts that are even a day old are close to dead. If I comment, I probably won't get any replies~forget trying to be top comment. If a post has hundreds of comments at that point, and I make a top level comment, it would literally only get a half dozen views.
Instead, if I could get my home feed to only show me posts from the last few hours, or maybe a half day· the posts that were made three days ago, would've been seen three days ago when they were fresh, instead of now, which is long after the post is fresh and active.

On the app, select “Latest” from the dropdown. Alternatively, swipe your home screen from right to left to cycle through your feed options.
IDK how mobile browser does it.
If you’re on desktop browser, and using old.reddit, you can sort by new.

Yeah I probably should've said this in the OP: I know about that, but that's the posts that have just been posted. Different from the posts that would make it to my main home feed, which are mostly the "best of" of my subscriptions, with some low activity posts peppered in.
Since I'm subscribed to so many subs, it takes a lot of scrolling to get past the ones posted in the last 5 mins.
