New GJ-X images (B-21 sized stealth UCAV)

Yep but we have a higher cost in real dollars due to labor compared to China so we have to spend more or try to pivot to companies like Aunduril which seem to offer a cheaper and more scalable model than Lockheeds or Boeing.

That will help with R&D and Procurement but our personnel costs are just higher than countries like China or Russia full stop.

We have to do something or we will fall behind China which would probably not be good for us.

Why do people keep saying its a drone? The first pictures clearly show it had a cockpit.

You might be thinking of the wrong aircraft?

There are two sixth-generation fighter prototypes, J-36, which is the double delta wing with three engines, the one that looks like a gingko leaf or a dorito. There's the J-XDS, which is a lambda wing configuration with two engines.

There is a B-2 sized drone, tentatively referred to as WZ-X, which appears to be close to a conventional flying wing.

The one in this post is GJ-X, which is a cranked kite flying wing around the size of a B-21, completely different geometry from any of the others. There's never been a photo of this aircraft where you could see the cockpit other than the initial satellite pic, which is too blurry. Credible PLA watchers have said that this is not the H-20 (manned stealth bomber).

I was talking about the GJ-X, the WZ-X is a drone though.

GJ-X is a drone too, I'm not sure where you're seeing the cockpit?
