Any recommendations for what to do in Morocco ? I’ll be in Marrakech but planning on taking the train around the country.

That sounds great! January is a perfect time to visit Morocco, mild weather and fewer crowds. From Marrakech, you can take the train to Fes, Casablanca, and Tangier, and if you have time, consider a desert trip to Merzouga to see the real Sahara dunes

It is a lovely place. Enjoy. I think my cheapest meal for two was under $2.

Please be very careful as disappearances and trafficking of women and pretty young men is very prevalent in Morocco.

If you are female, young and attractive do not go into markets and streets / alley ways alone. I found the country to be scary and felt creeped out by men staring at me. (Blonde and blue-eyed). And I was even with a tour group. Place your safety above everything
