Current WIP: 386DX-33 and Pentium 233 MMX

My two current projects: - Left: 386DX-33 — currently only has a Trident TVGA8900CL graphics card. Still missing the controller card for FDD/HDD and a suitable sound card, but it does boot! 5.25 floppy drive will be added as well. - Right: Pentium 233 MMX — almost finished, running MS-DOS 6.22 with an Elsa Victory 3DX, Sound Blaster 16, and a network card (for FTP transfers). Will soon be upgraded with a Diamond Monster 3D (Voodoo 1).

There are ATX 386 mobos??

I don’t think so. The one I use is an Elitegroup 386S (Baby AT) with 225x330 mm.

The case on the left looks much larger than a Baby AT (which the one on the right is)

Holy shit I had the one with the smaller case. Twas a pentium 2 inside. Greetings from Estonia!

This is almost inception. I am also currently working on a Baby AT P2 233 MMX. I have a 3com ethernet card, a clone of a sound blaster (Aztech) and a Voodoo 1 already installed next to a Matrox G200. Currently trying to get it all working under Windows 95.

I'm guessing the little guy is the 386?
My grandfather had a 386 in an identical (or extremely similar) tower-case in the very early 90s. I have no idea what happened to that computer (he died in 1995) and I wish I could go back in time and find it and keep it.

The 386 is actually in the bigger case, mainly because the P233 already was in the smaller one when I bought it. The small case also has a nice thee digit MHz display in the front that I wanted to use.

Alright! Thanks for the correction and yeah, those old-school LED-displays are pretty cool.
