Does anyone remember "the box" in the US? Where you could call and pay $1.50 to have your music video played?

We used to have something on either Friday or Saturday night on one of the local channels that played music videos for a short time period until cable started getting into the rural areas more

In L.A. we had a daily, hour long show right after school, MV-3 hosted by Richard Blade, a local DJ.

We had something like that too (Detroit area). I remember my dad coming in & asking "Who are those perverts?"

Yes. They had some absolutely bizarre songs too. There was one called (I'm not joking) "Yo mama's on Crack rock". This was probably late 80s maybe early 90s.
