I've been looking at my monthly spending and I'm thinking it "may" be cheaper to buy a car. I'm a 6'3" guy and in the future I'll need to move around a large dog within the city so I'm leaning towards an SUV. I've test drove a few vehicles but the only strong opinions I have are 1) I don't like the RAV4 (felt like the wind could easily push it around on the highway, a bit slow to get up to speed), 2) I hated driving something as big as a Suburban, 3) preferably nothing too fancy/flashy, its likely to be parked on the street. Likely buying used under 25k. Any particular recommendations? Also, I know I'm leaning SUV but if any of you have experience with large breeds in other body styles I'm open to that too.
