Z - a possible reddit alternative

Hey everyone,
I just added a social feature to my site (z.org) where you can create communities and post stuff. Haven't been working on it long, so it's pretty barebones. So far I mainly focused on securing it rather than UX flows and all that.
Would love any feedback if you check it out!

A single-letter top domain springs out of nowhere?
Yea, who's funding this one?

You're being overly cynical, and it's clear nothing will change your mind. Not sure why you're so pissed off. I'm not even charging money for anything. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

Not pissed off, not cynical. What you create doesn't matter enough to me to get either of those responses. Calling out an obviously fake 'alternative' is just that and nothing more.
The fact you're trying to claim 'not charging money' as some sort of high ground is kinda funny though.

dude owns z.org and he names it Z instead of Zorg? seriously?

Thank you for the feedback.

Yea.
So many obvious misses, so much suspect shit in the foreground.
I would be surprised this goes anywhere.

what are his other services? i am confused

If you go to that url he posted, the first thing that pops up isn't the reddit alternative.
The first thing that shows up is a front page 'sign up here' link for some other service they're selling, and a bit below is another signup... with another signup just below that one.
When you sign up for the service, it's dead empty / featureless drivel.
This isn't a call for an alternative, it's a shite attempt to get people to sign up for their mail-vpn-etc service.

I like the look of this so far, will look into it. Thank you for sharing.

How did you get that domain?
