Hello all,
Not sure how to phrase this but here it goes
I need to book a flight to orlando fron seattle for a work trip. November 6/7th and back home on monday the 10th. Havent flown since i wss a little kid and money is really tight, hoping someone has sone insight on how i might be able to save even a few bucks.
I was looking at frontier which seems to be the cheapest option. Side note: ill need to purchase a carry on, if that matters. Any promo codes or better deals? Seeing flights around 350+ for the lowest class/type. Pls help ty :((

Flights are cheaper to Portland (PDX) than to Seattle. Then you can take the train up to Seattle from there.
I would aim for the 5:30am Delta flight from Orlando, which arrives into Portland at 10:16am. Carry-on included. Then you can take Amtrak from Portland up to Seattle for $27. They offer this both days.
Same on the return flight: flights from Portland to Orlando go for $90 including carry-on.

Im actually going to orlando from seattle, but i assume the same method applies? Sounds promising, ill do some diggin, thanks!

Yes exactly. If you fly between Orlando and Portland, it should only cost $120+90 for flights. And then you'd take the train between Portland and Seattle for $27 each way. Should be cheaper overall, compared to flying between Orlando and Seattle :)

If work is paying for it, shouldn't price be irrelevant?

Work is not paying for it, otherwise yeah i wouldnt care lol. Its a side gig type of thing, im going to be harm reduction at an event and sadly transportation isnt paid for

Bummer. I'm sorry! Hope the other comment helped!
