PC's Connected via Cross-Over cable?
DarkWaterDW@reddit (OP)
8 port 10/100mbit Ethernet switch. Soon to introduce null modem serial cable for non IPX titles.

Nice! What 3dfx specific titles are you looking at playing multiplayer?
DarkWaterDW@reddit (OP)
Quake 1-3, Unreal (might be a stretch on an OG Voodoo 1), also playing a lot of general DOS/Win 9x titles outside of 3DFX territory.

Games like Terminal Velocity, Carmageddon and Rise of the Triad are also great for multiplayer.

Not a day goes by where I don't regret tossing that mint boxed Voodoo5 away in 2003 because none of the new games were compatible with it any more... A total dead-end architecture, but what a card for the time! Ran Max Payne like a dream

Hi where'd you get your desk from?

Costco

I've still got the Lenovo-branded version of the keyboard on the Voodoo 5 system, with wrist rest. It wasn't fancy, but man that thing is an indestructable workhorse of a membrane keyboard.

Oh yeah, and that SCSI Stack O' Power on the left.
