I know that Peugeot is hated on Reddit, but help me choose. Which is the better option out of these two (Peugeot 308 2019 vs Peugeot 208 2021)?

In my country, there is a law that states that I must drive a car under 105 HP for the first two years. It's been a year since I got a license.
I was looking at a Peugeot 208 2021 1.5 HDI manual diesel 74 kW 100 HP. The car has 152,000 KM on it. It's in very good condition inside and outside. It has 6 gears. The price is 9200 EUR. However, the interior is nothing like the 2021 Allure version which costs 12,000-13,000 euros here. There is no NAVI, there is not a single button on the steering wheel, there are no sensors, no driving mode, no auto-hold and the touch screen is a lot smaller then the Allure version. It's basically very empty inside. I guess that's why the price is 9200 EUR.
I was also looking at a Peugeot 308 2019 1.5 HDI manual diesel which is 75 KW 102 hp I guess. The car has 148,000 KM on it. Great condition on the inside and also outside. The price is 11000 EUR. The interior is ALLURE and has everything. Bigger screen, steering wheel controls, NAVI, parking sensors, auto hold and much more.
I can't decide between the two of them, the 308 is much better on the inside but it is an older model of the 308 (2019). The the 208 is the new model of the 208s (2021) which looks better on the outside and basically is newer.
What do you think?

These cars will drown if you set them on fire.... Don't ask me how, its just a P.S.A.

That's like asking who was nicer, Hitler or Mussolini.

Depends on what do ya need. I would personally take the 308, none of them have that much unique faults. The diesel is the safer engine out there, but it might need pockets for maintenance. Do not be afraid to get a Peugeot, just be prepared for the french kiss it comes with.

Choose a bicycle if you want reliability

I've met one person in my entire life that though Peugeot were good cars. He drove a Peugeot. It's the only one I've ever seen. Was a piece of shit

My dad bought a 505s turbo diesel in the 80's. Nice ride. Sort of reliable, but what an 85hp pos. Hahaha.

It’s not just Reddit that hates them.
