After blowing one of his exterior tires and catching the mudflap as blowouts tend to do. This driver did not bother calling an after hours tech he just hooked a ratchet strap to the L-bar and released his tandems so he could pull forward to bend it back. He most likely drove to the nearest truck stop instead of paying the ridiculous after hours service fees.
DON'T DO THIS!! JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE 17 OTHER PERFECTLY FINE TIRES DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE SAFE TO DRIVE 15 MILES. JUST PAY FOR THE SERVICE CALL!!!

If he is under the weight capacity and removes the rubber, im pretty sure it's legal.

get this guy of out here. with a light-medium load I would totally drive those 15 miles even if it was just to get to nearest truck stop or rest area and just get off the damn highway. If they had a tire shop there - even better. When you’re loaded to the brim it’s a little worse because you risk popping another tire under the weight, but if you got some wiggle room - at least GET OFF THE HIGHWAY

Sometimes you can't afford that service call. Make it drive-able and limp it to a shop.
