This week things came to a head with the company I went to getting back into trucking (only off about a year). It was a great company overall, but my driver manager was a petty bitch with nobody willing to help, until it was too late anyway. I had no guarantees but decided to go back to a company I drove for a few years ago, they had a good offer, I just needed to qualify again. It almost didn't happen, there was a couple hiccups, but it went through. I got the dedicated account I wanted, and a brand new KW to drive. .66/mi pulling conestogas, plus drop pay and a ton of work. Two companies have earned my loyalty over the years, and this is one of them. I only left before when I bought a truck in 2019.
