Parking Santa Clara, Ca

I never go to the Bay Area. I know this is a long shot but anybody know any secret spots I can park over the weekend? It can be anywhere in that area even San Jose.

that whole south bay area is rough for parking a rig i feel you. some guys have luck tucking away in the industrial parks over in north san jose or milpitas but it's always a gamble whether you'll get bothered. there are some paid lots scattered around but they can be pricey. it's probably easier to find a private yard in santa clara on prked.

I usually park in Gilroy or Patterson and just try and leave before 5am to beat most of the traffic in. Some of the side streets in Union City around the office/industrial parks off Whipple road are sometimes OK for a night, but it’s still hit or miss with tickets and if they’re enforcing them that night or not.

Last ditch effort there might be some spots off Boyce road or maybe smith in Fremont

The Bay’s a tough nut for parking. Best bet is to drop your trailer and stage out in Tracy or Lathrop, then bobtail into San Jose. There’s a TA in Santa Nella and a few truck-friendly streets near 237/880 industrial parks, but watch the signs. I usually just time it so I’m rolling out by dusk. Keep the rubber side down, y’all.
