What shall I prepare as a person who live in Borneo?

I live in East Malaysia, you can research on it, and I wonder what are the possible differences in my ways of prepping here?

I prepared this for someone else from Borneo. Well, im familiar with Borneo as I spent a month there in Sarawak (i recall white pepper corns). I suggest building a basic water filtration device. Take a 2 liter soda bottle. Cut the bottom out. Stuff gauze or cotton at very bottom. Then stuff several centimeters of activated carbon in the next layer. Then several inches of sand (rinsed to remove anything undesirable) then then several centimeters of rinsed pebbles. Now, cut the top off another 2 liter bottle and insert the spout end of filter into the open end of of second bottle. Tape it together. You now have a water filter. I would also have a third bottle that you can use to pour the the filtered water in and leave outside for a day in the sun to allow the suns UV to kill any pathogens. Now pure water. You can filter several bottles full every day.
Focus on storing legumes and beans and lots of rice. Lots of ramen. Store seasonings to prevent boredom. I recall Malaysians (unless you are in Brunei or Indonesian side of Borneo) use many seasoning.
The island was covered with jungle which will be teaming with game. Have a crossbow or some weapon to hunt or trap with.
Get a 25 watt radio (Retevis) and a simple antenna (J pole). You can hook to a rechargeable solar battery. You can monitor traffic not only on island but further away.
Here is an example of the filter;

At the most basic level, we are all start in the same place. The goal is to have water, shelter, food and basic medical supplies in whatever emergency situation we might end up in.
Make a list of any scenarios you might encounter, including natural disasters possible in your area, civil unrest if you think that is a concern based on your country’s current political situation, supply chain issues and individual emergencies like a job loss or unexpected illness/injury. Once you have listed the emergencies, write out what each of those things might look like, as in “typhoon: roads might be washed out, possibly unable to leave property for several weeks.” You will probably have overlapping things in this category because various emergencies could have similar impacts on your life.
Once you have listed the things you need to be prepared for, start your list of things that you need for those scenarios. You will probably need things like being able to feed yourself for several weeks or possibly longer. You will need access to clean water.

As long as food is grown easily where you are. I would prepare for being off grid. How do you power what you need, how do you have safe water.
