...well, I figure that character could be an Orion, to reference TOS, and therefore would mean the character would have to be female. And the way I figure, two likely actresses from the 80s would be perfect as the Orion Chief Engineer: Christie Brinkley and Cindy Crawford.

Of the two, which of the two would be most likely to play an Orion Chief Engineer main character from TNG Season 2?
