If you want that kind of money I think he should be advertising it in the right place.but still wouldn’t pay it no matter how much I had wonder does it come with warranty lol

No. Next question

The number of cars you can get for that price is crazy. You can get a modern Turbo S manual(Sport Classic) for $550k. + A S/T for $700k. + A fully loaded Cayenne Turbo GT for $250k. + A Revuelto for $700k + An Aston Martin Vantage for $220k. Or A singular air colled Turbo S.

But you forget that the person with $2.4m to spend on a car already has the resources to buy all of those cars too.

If you only have 2.4mil then sure. But if you had 100mil to buy cars that's a different story.

Someone paying $2.4 million for a car probably wouldn’t have issues buying any of those other cars if they wanted it on top of a $2.4 million car.

Anyone looking to pay that much for a 993 more than likely has a garage full of exotics.

Particular_Flower111@reddit

Or a Carrera GT, a 993 turbo S you can actually drive, and a 992.2 GT3 just for fun. Literally a top tier Porsche collection (including the car in question) for the price of this.

Maybe HawtGarbage918 should take a break on the question askin’

I don't know much about the 993 market, but I do know that the dealer, Marshall Goldman, has had a Bentley listed for 4 years now, with an asking price that is more than double what these typically trade for. It looks cosmetically pretty nice but I can tell it needs a bunch of mechanical work from the photos, so it's not even a 10/10 example despite the price. I'm not going to question their business model because they seem to be successful, but I wouldn't buy a car there.

SirLoinsALot03@reddit

Nope. The 993 Turbo market is no where near this price.

For a Speed Yellow no miles one? Yea it is.
View on Reddit #68807864

Clover-kun@reddit

It really isn't. The only claim to fame the 993 ever had was being the last air cooled 911, but the 993 Turbo has water cooled heads anyway so in a way it was actually the first watercooled 911

PinkishOcean430@reddit

That's the equivalent to trying to reason with the 964 market. It doesn't have to make sense, it's just a sought after car that goes for 200k+ for driver quality. Not saying I would, but someone will.

Not even if money is no issue. That's a museum piece and I'm not interested.

No. I wouldn’t pay that for ANY car. Let alone a 90’s Porsche.

colin_staples@reddit

I’d pay $2.4 million for a McLaren F1 or a Ferrari 250 GTO, then sell it for 10x that.

I'd probably consider a Murano Crosscabriolet too

Can I plug my fridge into it when the power goes off? No? Well then I'll pass.

If I'm paying $2,4000,000 for a 911, it better be a GT1 Road Car.

We need to stop over paying for Porsches. People D ride that car so much despite 1, never owning one, 2, having never even been in one! Can you imagine defending a GT3 despite having to buy several commuter Porsches just to get a GT3 allocation? I get it tho, its part of the exclusivity. But when the 3RS is over 400k I'm going to look at Ferraris and Lambos.

It's really not a Facebook find... It's Marshall Goldman... So a super high end premium dealer.

Out of all the places to list something for $2mil they chose Marketplace?
View on Reddit #68798496

No. Not enough miles for a 97. Internals are probably not in the best shape.

No. That’s for someone who won’t drive it to stick in a collection and brag about the low mileage.
