Honestly the amount of beatings is not funny. Yeah sure humor as copium is not wrong but on a societal level fearing your parents is just shit, it's definitely not the same as respecting them. Inb4 Westerners are gay for laissez faire methods: yes. But there has to be some...middle ground?
