After moving to linux

Literally me after switching to linux after years of using windows “has to be one of the best tech moves i did in a long time” dont get me wrong its not like i forgot how i loved windows but the amount of freedom i have with the linux is insane and thats talking about the most basic distro (mint) i am sure when i get deeper it will be much more insane

Wait until you realize you can do as much with Mint as you can with other distros. It's just that most of us Linux Mint enjoyers don't want to, it's stable, it does the job with not many frills, it's just like a piece of comfy clothing, it just feels right. :D

And distro suggestions. Like why do you think a thousandth post on reddit on this question will help you ?If they recommanded that to other users, they will recommand the same thing. I understand though, it can be kinda confusing.

Like every reddit sub it's regressed to the point where there is a small set of specifically allowed opinions. Anything that reinforces that opinion is upvoted, anything else is downvoted. "I just switched from Windows and Linux is so much better" posts will always be upvoted, "I just switched from Windows and I find Linux to be slightly buggy and need help" posts will always be downvoted.

it used to be a tad more interesting awhile ago but especially with microsoft doing what microsoft does best, fucking up their reputation, many people migrate over to linux.

i do appriciate more support on linux, and the second they drop support for windows 10 in the EU(if they dare) i will switch with my main system aswell.

probably have to watch out more, more users = more malicous acters = more viruses.
