Curious if you can identify this 37mm flare launcher

Found on an auction site.
Appears to be listed as a 37mm launcher; I cannot see any sort of maker marks.
I only see on the side, "Warning: Read manual before..."
Curious if you reddit wizards can spot this one.

It’s a factory thing. Had the long one a while back. Box just said thumper with no further info. Not sure who actually produced them. This is the third one I’ve seen.

I found an auction from 2009 with what looks like a longer version.
I am puzzled by this thing. They're trying to make a cheap M-79 but I can't find any branding.
